Why? Can someone explain this to me?
I guess cus the trunk window opens upwards
GM hates windows. It's not a meme.
Why is GM such shit?
>mfw my friend's Exploder did this
>my other friend's Expedition does this too
I think it's for tight spaces or some shit. Maybe so you can stick a 2x4 out the window or something retarded, who knows
Holy shit, is that real?
>gm fangirls trying to pretend ford is just as bad
Almost every SUV and CUV does this. I think the point is on how big the glass is yet the window is fucking tiny.
>buying americrap motors
Phew I've never made or will make that mistake
They all do that
>still assblasted by the previous thread
Yes, you clearly are.
Maybe I'm not as autistic as OP but I don't see the problem in the pic.
Except the bowtie. huhuhuhuhuh memes
>that boot
kek
Is there even a single good modern SUV?
I literally don't see anything wrong with that.
> they're still mad that they can't defend their M4 and ecoshit mustang getting BTFO by the camaro at all levels
mfw
What?
>compares car on an 11 year old platform to brand new mustang
nice try m8, wait until the new z/28 and ZL1 are released
>have to wait for GM to catch up
because fuck rear visibility
G wagon
kek, btfo
>boot
kek
...
Looks big enough to put groceries in.
I literally don't understand. What's the point in the window folding up? What advantage is there?
>cherry picks results for Ford win
>mustang gets destroyed when compared apples to apples
please try again ford shill
The ecoboost is faster than the 2.0.
GM needs to bring these doors back.
So you can access it without opening the hatch. It's a remnant from when the back used to actually keep the truck tailgate. Top opens up and the tailgate folds down.
>once again compares apples to oranges
>2.0 goes up against V6 mustang yet compares it to ecoboost
throw the tires from the SS on it and the 2.0 pulls almost a full second lead over the ecoboost, a car it isn't even supposed to compete against
Why even have a trunk?
The ecoboost costs the same as the 2.0, cuck. We've been over this. It's a fair comparison.
>b-but if you modify a car it will be faster
Why isn't it a liftback ?
barn doors for life
>$28k mustang vs. $26k camaro
>fair comparison
give me results where the mustang is tested without the $2k performance package since that where all our data comes from
Why would you ever buy the track pack? Same amount of money can be better spent in the aftermarket.
The Ecoboost costs 25k. You keep trying to pretend the camaro is cheaper with your apples to oranges comparison but it isn't. Stay triggered.
Anything euro minus bmw
But the camaro is nicer and faster.
The 2.0T isn't.
>the camaro is nicer
I like cars with windows.
Superior rollover protection and structural rigidity.
Bam.
Ford does it too...
>I dont know how to drive
Are you a woman or asian?
find me a comparison test with a mustang ecoboost that doesn't have the performance package so we can see the numbers
Base $26k camaro 2.0t vs base $26k ecoboost mustang will result in camaro win.
DELETE THIS!!!!

Meanwhile I've put 200,000 miles on my 5.3 in my 2005 Silverado without issue.
Stupid weeb.
Not happening...
Still pretty bad but the Suburban is much smaller.
>250k mile 1.6 Miata that gets thrashed every day
Not impressive.
It did look off, yes. Though my pic is from an '09 Expedition, so that may be why?
I mean, we'll all be driving windowless cars with cameras and displays instead soon enough, so I don't know if it really matters...
>but the Suburban is much smaller!
I cant stand you fan girls.
>GM sucks cause no windows lol
Well ford has no windows either see
>BUT ITS DIFFERENT!!!!
>gm fangirls false flagging again
Except my vehicle has a normal sized engine that tows half the time it's running, not a riding mower engine like your hairdresser-mobile has.
> Being this ass blasted...
>base mustang ecoboost vs. base 2.0t camaro will result in mustang win

Though the Suburban is particularly bad, I'm guessing it is necessary for the structural strength of the hatch. Glass overlapping pillars and other opaque elements for the sake of exterior aesthetics isn't exactly unheard of, though being able to open the rear window glass certainly makes it more noticeable.
Seems like they're moving backwards, the older Exploders (and I assume Expeditions too) cleverly minimized the glass overlap by integrating the exterior corners into the hatch structure, like pic related.
Though you could argue that this is a trade-off for fatter D pillars, as it looks like the pic related Exploder has a fair bit of glass overlap of the rear side windows onto the D pillar.
Yes, you do need to cite that. Glad we're on the same page.
except that it doesn't exist. You know the mustang loses at every trim level comparison. The camaro is just a better car. You will have to wait until 2018 for a possibility of a win against the camaro
>tfw no new astros
>tfw all the manuel ones are gone
>tfw no ls1/t56 astro
just end it now
Reminds me of this.
Look at this
trucktrend.com
>“The only mechanical issue I’ve had with my truck was at 776,000 when the reverse went out
Now how stupid do you feel with those baby 200k
its bad but i guess i can live with the wind opening like that, but the only bad part is those horrible defroster power lines connecting it to the tailgate.
lmao
...
I have 370k miles on my 95 T100.
Old green is a little tired but the damn thing will not quit no matter what I throw at it. I only drive it about once a week these days, but it never fails. Im almost worried at this point. How is it able to do this but modern cars go to shit at and need service constantly. A friend of mine just had the power steering on his 2014 focus go out at 11k miles. What the fuck is wrong with American cars made from 1965-1989 and 2001-2015?
...
>rotards will defend this
Aw yeah. Feels like I can see the world from those. Doors are real handy too.
Whoever lifted that thing needs to kill himself, though.
Why can't they just dona roll down window... like every Toyota since forever.
>t. head gm window designer
You can drive blind or with limited visibility?
Especially on a 'performance' that's trying to kill you every time you step on the gas?
What's wrong with this?
Nigga the fuck you talking about?
That actually makes sense. I've driven one of these once and had to park in an underground car park and if the trunk would open all the way, it would hit the ceiling. Other than that it's pretty shit, yeah
someone post the cockpit view of the new camaro please
God dammit,. Guess none of us can go buy those giant SUVs Veeky Forums loves, huh?
it probably adds a lot of weight but it's still cool af
...
do you have the tank one?
holy shit
XC90
>mfw bromaro runs 17s because he can't see the tree without an array of mirrors

Oh yes Im sure that twincharged hybrid unibody crossover will stand the test of time as a reliable utility vehicle
>window is bigger
>obstructed by the backseats
kek
If you own a dog you can park your car and leave the window up. Dog will take care of niggers breaking in while not getting a heat stroke inside the car.
>literally this entire thread
i get that pillars and door height are a huge problem in modern car design but for fuck sake this is the most malignant shit I've seen on Veeky Forums to this day
>Fold down and removable seats
>I need to fold down my seats so I can actually see backwards
