Got one of these sitting in my driveway as a courtesy car. Fucking piece of shit, lot of road noise, gutless and with an ugly interior. Plus I hate that high seating position.

Only if you're doing crazy fast turns or getting t-boned at high speeds. Most of the time, a higher height allows WOMEN especially to see over the other car on a left turn and not get fucked up. It's preventative safety.

SUVs are pretty much just raised wagons. They offer the height advantage and buying a station wagon is pointless.

I rather drive a full sized sedan, most of those are longer than an SUV. Especially shit like town cars.
