Seriously I don't think anything would viably stand between her and a date with sonic. I want to see a game/story where eggman finally captures sonic only to have Amy bust through the wall and fucking ruin all his armies and shit to get to her man.
And from then on Eggman decides it's safer to kidnap amy, because she's quite content sitting around the egg carrier waiting for sonic to rescue her which costs eggman way less robots.

I remember that one user who said that Brevin was a much better villain than Eggman and all this stuff praising the game and shitting on Mania and all that.
Brevon is such a lazy villain. Like, Eggman is a mastermind at mechs and has the master plan but fucks up due to taunting, childishness and being sometimes a bit off hinge, and will fuck up the world if it means another shot at Sonic.
Wily is a jealous fuck who wants to write I'm Better Than Light on the moon with a laser but won't see Thomas hurt and will beg for his life if it means another shot at doing this.
Brevon is just evil and will kill and torture for fun and ... what else.

I'm keen to see if anything new/better comes out of SAGE this year, because multimedia fusion is awful.
