I like the wheels on the Honda better.

Wimmin have better style than men, confirmed.

Beemer looks better though..

Honda's design predates the i8.

I don't like cars that drive for you
every bmw after e30 is ugly

yeah just put any cars of the same color side by side they always look similar

god i8 is fucking ugly

>fwd

Sure..

...

Mmmm-mmm

Look at all that factory RICE.

How can people think this looks good

The only attractive thing in this pic is the badge

You meant to say E46

It accelerates like a raped pig

>awwwwww

Still think they shat the bed hard, Acura corporate design style is shit and has been shit for years.

They should have made it look more like the HSV. That thing makes me moist in my nethers.

>Hey guys bad news, the NSX isn't MR anymore
Oh fuck th-
>It looks exactly like the HSV though
... shit, I ain't even mad.

...

Can't be any more concrete than this.

>Sarcasm

Needs more useless lines and curves.

Wait what? Really? How?

>134mpg

1.5 liter diesel engine vs 6.2 liter v8

Burgers confirmed confused
>B-But muh V8! How could something superior in every way other than displacement and raw power possibly compete?!

Meanwhile:
>Over 1000lbs or 3 full American passangers lighter
>Better chassis and suspension
>Better power delivery due to electric motor

>diesel engine

BMW is so bloated that they had to move their entire line down, treating the 2-series as the old 3-series and so on. That i8 looks giant for what it is, and I'd rather drive the reliable Honda than the unpredictable bimmer

>Implying E34 is ugly

kys

>i8
>giant
it is exactly as wide and 8 inches longer than the new NSX
>reliable Honda
honda marketing at work kek

The CTS-V is faster on Laguna Seca and Hockenheim

NSX > i8
V6 > scooter engine

Poltards have shit taste

>Prototype supercar malfunctions during stress testing so productions cars don't have to

I swear everyone on this board is 14

So then it wasn't her design to begin with...

Veeky Forums is full of idiots

Her job was to modify the original concept so it can meet the cooling and aerodynamic standards the engineers asked for because of the new engine layout and drivetrain

Man you guys have weird taste. They're so ugly

Nigger look at the times.

I`m confused how a luxury sedan managed to get that close and in some cases beat a performance car.

Not only that $150,000 vs $92,235

How can a cheaper luxury sedan with '''''pushrods'''' beat a purpose built sports car. That's just embarrassing.

8 inches of waste. That's not the german engineering I know. Maybe they should have shoved the 211 hp difference in those 8 inches, hmm?

No, no, wait for the good part. He's actually going to say that BMW is more trustworthy than Honda.

550hp is 550hp no matter how you develop it. Pushrods or no. Besides. AMC's 4.0L I6 godmachine uses pushrods. If they're good enough for that they're good enough for Cadillac.

Uh no faggot, we're wondering how the fuck a luxury sedan can keep up with "the ultimate driving machine"

>8 inches of waste
Can't do this in the nsx

I'll tell you how. They stuck a massive pigfat high-test fuckmaster of an engine in it, and slapped it around until it was mad enough to rape a cat. They then stuck it next to the anemic little eurowagon and pressed go.

NSX isn't a GT

>>It looks exactly like the HSV though

>NOT MR

>implying this is even possible

do you even understand car design

>massive pigfat
>aluminum OHV

smaller/lighter than any comparable ICE

Nope honda is much better here

That's why it's 8 inches shorter.

the i8 has 367hp and a 1.5 liter 3cyl engine, it never was a "purpose built sportscar" but a halo car
BMWs only purpose built sports car is the M4 GTS or the upcoming M4 GT4

Did a woman design the engine too? I thought we were talking about styling. There could have been one on the team idk

Liberals are usually much more careful than you not to make silly misteps like that because so much of their strategy involves pointing out when their opponents misspoke or misunderstood something similarly small and running around screaming about how it proves their side is for geniuses and the other is for retards

we all make mistakes though mang, I'm sure you're very very smart

kiddie seats

or do you actually plan to "tour" with your legs in that position? throw your groceries back there and shut the fuck up

it has as much rear seat space as a regular coupe

And no one actually transports people in a regular coupe

i've transported 8 people in my e36 coupe

>can't crush you legs in an NSX

Why would I want to?

cars from the same era always tend to have similar design trends

why do you hate women so much

Are you trying to say that the NSX and i8 look the same? Are you retarded?

>So then it wasn't her design to begin with...

No. She was brought on sometime after the unveiling of the concept in 2012 to design the production version.

>out with ya boi
>two qts come up
>'can we ride with u?'
>'...err no sorry'
cucked again

>not putting them on your lap
how beta...?

but it hauls ass son

Mexicans need not apply

How could they fuck up this?

kek

they basically bought an R8, changed the headlights, and slapped on some motors

Well, 2010's will be years of women fuck up old good things i think.

Both are trash because no ecoboost.

I'm pretty sure she did the original too - she talks about it in Jay Leno's garage NSX episode. She also did the ZDX.

arr modern cars rook same

shoot your eyeballs out you tasteless plebeian

...

>NSX
Looks like a generic "supercar". White is just a plain choice in paint. It'd look better in Type R meme white (read; Championship White) with the red badge but we'll reserve that for the mid-engine manual enthusiast model.

>i8
Not a fan. It's an unworthy successor to the E26 M1 and not a new V12-packing 8 Series.

>ugliest ferrari one could possibly obtain.

...

are those supercars?

yea fuck off.

you said modern cars not supercars.

faggot.

damn i like that.

slack is given though, such a different era.

>Thoughts?

Is the NSX shitting out a Porsche?

Because the BMW is.

She joined the team in 2012, way after the original concept was revealed

TL:DR
Honda designs bastardized NSX first and gets BTFO when BMW brings the i8 to market before them.

BMW's current m6 is still not as fast as the V. As far as I'm aware, it's the fastest car in it's class.

the M6 is faster, the M6 coupe or the M6 competition package is even more faster

The M6 GC is 0.6secs quicker to 130 mph
caranddriver.com/reviews/2016-cadillac-cts-v-test-review

Nice f430

I don't see it

It's the silver part.

HOLY SHIT!!!

>fastest ferrari one could possibly obtain
850hp on stock internals with a turbo :)

>every bmw after e30 is ugly
The e30 is my favourite BMW design aswell, but come on, this isn't ugly.

>Is the NSX shitting out a Porsche?
>Because the BMW is.
Please no, my sides can't take this

>that front end
Gross

>Buy a sportscar like the NSX and BMW i8
>Wants to drive 4 people

Pick one and only one.

Not ugly, but not going to be remembered.

Idk, beamers just changed quite a lot and are becoming more and more aggressive. I guess they're trying to appeal to teenagers and Asians because they like the style. Even the damn 7-series look sporty, not luxurious. Its a fucking angry rectangle. The M2 is an angry pig-fat Civic.

Idk man, its just that Mercedes looks a bit more prestigious now with the curves. The BMW, well, its iconic but literally everyone of them looks similar to the 328i, which is saying that all cars look mediocre and doesn't stand out.

I like the rear lights of modern BMWs, it's just the grille-headlight area usually ends up bloated

The good old times
