They changed the model. They restructured the publisher deal with Activision because they fucked up so hard

They'd never allow PC-Console crossplay. A big reason why Destiny feels as good as it does is the aim assist; on a PC, that holds you back. That and PC players would wipe the floor with console players. They'd never be on equal footing. It'd be Shadowrun all over again.
