Robocrafts new light weight, fast moving legs. These things are ugly as fuck.

This. Obfuscation doesn't make a game "engineering"
Austin Reed
>tfw when finally figured out how to play kohctypop offline
kohctypop isn't obfuscated it's just minimalistic Minecraft (logic) is obfuscated, especially timings. other games just have logic as well, altough it's optional(Factorio, Infinifactory) or impractical(FtD)
Hudson Fisher
logic is too low level to really be useful, especially in games like minecraft where each component takes up a lot of space
gotta dig out a mountain worth of redstone just to make a shitty automatic door
Bentley Ramirez
>gotta dig out a mountain worth of redstone just to make a shitty automatic door it doesn't use that much redstone(you get a lot of it easily, on big servers you might even get it for free from people). But circuits are huge, you can't just "put one into the wall"
Noah Parker
Can somebody fucking send about a billion of these to china fucking please
I have a valley, and I heard Fatkungfuu wants to build Bulletfarm across the expanse from Gastown. Now we just need someone to build The Citadel, and we can have a 3 city tour.

What happens if you merge two 4,999-count grids on serb?
Henry Jenkins
Gastown? Is that near the wsa base?
Haven't landed on the planet yet.
Landon Peterson
And how do projectors work with the block limiter? The only way I can think it would work is if it counts the full unwelded projection against your count when you load the BP in, or if ship welders have a hidden "[player] built this block" tag that's separate from ownership that gets passed on to blocks built by that welder.

Nicholas Evans
So, mhmm, well.
It's still on the workshop, but I need to make a few tests to make sure shit doesn't just sudoku the module. Also, I'll edit the ranges of gravity and behaviour - it'll be spoopy.
Henry Brown
Fairly sure they won't merge, saying it would exceed count. When you click on a block of a projector, you're placing it and it counts towards the limit. Ship welders just click lots of blocks at once, I think the placed block is assigned to the grid owner (the one assigned in info tab).
Adam Nguyen
Oh god, it werks, send help.
Elijah Walker
So what if you set the weldship to nobody, or make a weld drone set to nobody?
If you take ownership of a grid, do its armor blocks immediately count against you? I'm still on stable so I've not tested any of this.
Isaac Perry
There is ownership, which is a control state for access and block functions. Grid ownership is a subfunction of block ownership.
There is placement right, which is a right infered upon first placement that can be passed on to others, which is a control state for block limits< right transfer and remote deletion.
You can own a block you have no placement right to, and you can have placement right to a block you don't own.
Thomas Moore
What if the black hole spawned NPC ships filled with resources so people would have a reason to go there and risk getting spaghetti'd?
Julian Powell
>what if the gravity well spawned ships that instantly pancaked into it because the "AI" is literally floating in random directions at 10m/s?
So welders propagate their placement rights no matter the owners yeah?
Ryan Moore
It'd be nice if this could be a thing, because it'd just be cool as fuck, but the game's AI consists of literally just floating along.
That said, if anyone could ever reach the centre of the blck hole there'd be a million tonnes of useful shit that'd been dragged in by the gravity.
Chase Ortiz
Placement right is something you get when you place the block, be it from suit or cockpit. It is not about who welded up a block first, regardless of help others or not. Any ownership is completely unrelated to placement right.
Peter and Paul build a grid.
Peter places 100 armor blocks and a reactor, Paul places 2 refineries. The grid now has 103 blocks, 101 placed by Peter, 2 by Paul.
Peter welds up the reactor he placed, one refinery Paul placed, and 50 armor blocks. Paul welds up one refinery and the 50 other armor blocks.
Peter now owns the reactor and one refinery. Paul owns one refinery.
Peter still hols the placement rights to all armor and the reactor. Paul still holds the placement right to both refineries.
Ryan Rodriguez
>there will never be anything neat inside >SE will never have a dimension system like Minecraft that could teleport you to a new world when you reach the center of a black hole >it will remain the universe's anime receptacle forever
Zachary Flores
It is not impossible to make something crazy in Spengies. It is just too performance intensive.
Justin Rogers
>what if the gravity well spawned ships that instantly pancaked into it because the "AI" is literally floating in random directions at 10m/s so the server can get tot 0.0035 simspeed and next world data is 487MB and nobody would go there anyway because there's so much resources in the rest of the world that it is pointless to even have wars if not for fun?
Alexander Wilson
No yes I get that But what if Peter uses Paul's weldship to place blocks from his own projector BP?
What if Paul's weldship is an unmanned drone and Peter tells it what to do? What if it's Paul's projector?
Is placement propagated from the welder or the projector?
Blake Martin
What is a black hole really?
Jeremiah Martin
Ask your mother
Adam Peterson
Good question. To my knowledge, from the projector. As in, whoever loaded in the blueprint. Haven't tried that yet.
Ryan Hall
A thing that goes S U C C.
Angel Wright
Why would it be from the projector? It means that multiple people can't weld a ship from a BP. I think that it is from the welder, so doing it by hand obviously assigns it to you, doing it with a drone/ship assigns it to whoever placed that welder (not the owner, the one that has the welder in his block count).
So, Paul made an unmanned weldship and it is helping Peter welding a BP from Peter's projector? The blocks will be assigned to Paul. And if Peter only borrowed Paul's weldship, the ship will be Assigned to Paul and he will have to change it in his K-info tab to Peter, so that the blocks will count against Peter's limit.
This makes sense so that multiple people can work on a BP, the other way around can't be done since you can't assing single blocks to someone, Paul would need to manually place the blocks. Then again, this is keencode so it is very likely that the worst way is the real one.
Aiden Anderson
>Peter still hols the placement rights to all armor and the reactor. >Paul still holds the placement right to both refineries. that sounds ridiculous, does the game actually track that?
