I'm hacking your email

its global but youd need lots of rolling flames to make it worth it

low tier essences are basically alchs

and you can do id'd and unid recipe concurrently

yeah, most likely.

MOM'S GONNA FREAK

Crit Spark Templar or AoE MoM EE Vortex? Not sure how to make an Ignite Prolif Vortex without it shitting itself.

Omg i'm going to be MAILING a girl!!!

neither are very good. Spark is probably better

>rolling flames
It's shit. Treat fireball like you would split arrow. Stack pierce and crit. The base damage on it is actually great. Even with GMP. Once you have 100% pierce on it the clears are pretty sweet.
Even with all of the AoE stacking in the game, relying on the explosion of fireball for damage just doesn't work. It's too clunky. You'll still miss mobs in just about every pack, slowing the speeds too much.

what's a good Templar build then?...

pathfinder

I'm actually staff at GGG, and I'm in Standard a2 town on Aus if you want to say hi :-)

what difficulty moron

RIP, emperor if purity

Normal of course.
As if anyone can ever make it to Cruel in this game

Still need a Templar build :(

did u fug bex

>fucking catposter

Why crit? With the massive ignite chance fireball has by default, I'd think going Controlled Destruction and/or Elemental Overload would be good.

if it's not crit your build is shit

no, she is only 12.
It is illegal

i was wondering if any of you in /poeg/ also play Grim Dawn. I recently picked it up and like it very much, but I never see any threads for it.

even in aus

It's got 6% base crit. You get higher damage from crit scaling. It's just better, user. It feels really, really, fucking good. Respec an old character when you get the chance. It's fun.

dude, especially in aus
you get put on the pedo list for even looking at porn with small tiddies

And clears are okay with just pierce?

Just seems like there'd be better options (Ice Spear?) for a G/LMP Pierce spell since some of fireballs "power budget" is bound up in ignite chance and built in AoE.

>Even with all of the AoE stacking in the game, relying on the explosion of fireball for damage just doesn't work. It's too clunky. You'll still miss mobs in just about every pack, slowing the speeds too much.
you've never tried 3 rolling flames
packs disappear
with 4, packs disappear on the other side of the screen
still unreliable for bosses though rip

I ran it a while back. Back when vall fireball could auto-kill any map boss. I honestly don't know how it holds up these days. Maybe Ice Spear would be better.

pizza sticks

not that pls ;_;

Have you seen this man?

crit frostbolt totems. Stack the ever loving hell out of cast speed.

that sounds fucking retarded

I miss esk...

It is. But it's equally fun.

LOL

How many builds are Shaper viable?

about 20-50
basically all the upper tier skills can do it quite comfortably

Played it for a while. There used to be the occasional thread prior to release. It doesn't have any endgame though. Haven't played it with mods, which might make it a little more bearable (a la TQ). I liked TQ better though.

how many core skills are there in that 20-50

I'm not sure what that question means

After people get used to the fight everything that can clear the trash. You herd the vortices and avoid his damage.

the shaper is a ripoff of algalon
prove me wrong

>After people get used to the fight everything that can clear the trash
So it's uber atziri all over again? Anything that scales crit?

>You herd the vortices and avoid his damage.
If that's so easy, why don't you do it?

@155944019

I did do it, maybe you shouldn't be such a cocksucker and actually try my advice first.

feelsgood to get a good name for your character, even using english words, hit enter and see its not taken already

I've been playing for years and always took stupid names or just mashed the keyboard to start asap, but for once I have a special bond with a character.

share your stories poeg

It really has no endgame? That's kind of a downer, I really like the hybrid class system and the zodiac signs.

How's PoE these days? I have played it a few years ago, I think that was before or shortly after release, and way before it came to Steam.

what do you put on an animated guardian (w/SRS) nowadays? dying breath....leer cast...what else?

When 2.0 released they re-opened thousands of dormant names. best of times.

If your DPS was your power level, which DBZ character would you be? me, I'd be Frieza (first form)

yeah i really took the time find a name that i could fully identify with

my character name was stolen from me, no doubt by a name bot
I will forever resent God for this

the two games arent really comparable

poe is in a league of its own, Grim Dawn may be satistying for a while but like almost every other game you'll get bored and not touch it again, unless you're one of those weirdoes who think torchlight and van helsing are the best arpg ever made

so yeah its a pretty good game, but there is no sense of accomplishment, or oh fuck I wanna try this build too like in poe

its also very dated mechanically, just like titan quest

human farmer

>tfw Yamcha-tier bow
>tfw no upgrade in 5ever

GGG staff please forward this to Chris :

We need MORE voice acting from the characters, and more uniques lines per characters when facing bosses.

GGG suck my fucking cock you fucking retards and balance the game more than once every three months.

How much are you paying on a monthly basis to play the game again?

it has an endgame

the roguelike dungeons and the crucible

but it feels a bit small, compared to poe at least

its mechanics arent really dated. its just an approach to the genre. on one hand you have extremely streamlined stuff like D3 and Marvel Heroes, which feel way too simplistic once you spend a bit of time on them

and GD is on the other extreme. PoE is a nice balance between "modern" and "classic" arpgs

>uniques lines per characters when facing bosses.
Should have filed this request faar earlier.

Appreciated as always :)

would you say it's worth the time I'd need to invest to catch up with PoE? How hard/easy is it to get a decently geared first char up and running? Like back in the Diablo 2 days, where your first char would usually be a frost orb sorc for gear farming.

> GD is on the other extreme. PoE is a nice balance between "modern" and "classic" arpgs

so you're saying Grim Dawn is more complex than PoE?

If you know what you're doing, it shouldn't take you more than 12 hours

If you don't have a clue about the game, it might take you 12 days

Why the FUCK is abyssus 30c? Last week it was easily 80c min, seriously what happened?

no he's saying it's a clunky piece of shit but candy coating it

would I have to bother with the "story line" at all, or is there something like the Adventure Mode in Diablo 3?

12 acts and 18 trials until you get to play the game

at higher difficulties there is more more micromanaging of resist, more damage types, constitution (something similar to stun threshold in poe but that affects other shit too) and shit like that. skills are also tied to gear so you need to find a way to fit them in your build if you want them

poe is simpler in that regard, as defensive skills can be combined with pretty much any gear and you just worry about the synergy. resists are trivial to overcap for most setups

d3 and mh just have like a global EHP/resist indexes and most gears acts on them in some way that you dont need to care much about

nigga what?

just leave
you're wasting your time
i'm being serious

>just ripped a char
>read this
>understand that you have to do it
>again

don't forget to level your masters either :^)

but the trials are done once only all league

awww, poor basement dweller. afraid that those filthy casuls are gonna invade your game?

you deciding to start playing or not has literally zero effect on me
just don't be a nuisance here, either start to play, or don't, I care little

wow rude dude I always welcome future exiles to the fold, this is a no bullying zone sir

Hey guys, shitter here. When's a good time to swap out dual axiom's for something else while leveling?

poeurl.com/NhO

MoM EE Vortex Elementalist.

90 points
>159% life
>175% mana regen
>125% mana
>40% AoE
>3 jewel sockets

Y/N?

at lvl 50 for dual decay wands

level 24: reverberation rod x2
level 36: amplification rod x2

as soon as you get something else that you can use

which should be at around level 30+

>159% life
no

>life
no

why the fuck would you not go ci and stack int as much as you can

also where is the rest of your build
or were you stopping at level 75

Because I don't want to fucking use CI even though it's fucking OP? I just hope MoM is enough of a damage buffer. Could probably run Pledge of Hands too.

If a build doesn't work by level 75 then it's retarded IMO. It's not like I can't spec in stuff I need or respec stuff I don't.

There is literally no downsides to taking Vaal Pact if you use lifeleech.

reaching it can be a downside if you start on the left side of the tree

I've been away for a while. Is VP still a requirement if you plan on surviving reflect?

what if you are using blood rage

reflect isnt as big a problem anymore

but yes, if you want to do reflect maps and your damage can reflect, you pretty need leech

Not much to be said, although those 5-7 points just to get Scion AoE are inefficient imo. That averages at 2% AoE per point if you keep the jewel socket there, which I wouldn't.

You're better off picking a garbage corrupted belt with +5-6% AoE implicit and making your way to Melding with those 7 points.

If you use Pyre for damage conversion, Explosive Impact is especially strong for Vortex as it gives you 55% damage on the initial hit for 4 points (13.75% dmg/pt) and 5% AoE. If not, Storm Weaver is still more efficient damage (43/3 = 14.33% dmg/pointt) than Occultist's Domininion (46/4 = 11.5% dmg/point) which you can fill out later.

Corrected tree:
pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAABAMAAN-wghChL37H-dvli9-K6QL-s1crvYJtGZf0UlM9X5eVTLMEB-vkXyqD21XGCPTAVGpDHwI2xdgkVkinCOvumuBFnVNShTKdrhpsNukkqhZv42rkItWm7TyaO4Kbn9_vfDwFwGZo8qIA8B8Es3xLlnTsODrYJy-QVRo4hXtmVNAf7-sc3I8auJMo-oLH-ehJsdfP-TfviJMnbAsi9EGHtz7-Cti9NZL-j03jplc64fJFmK2-ig==

169% life, 4 sockets. I wouldn't invest too much into mana regen, and mana % is good with MoM but life is still priority, especially if you reserve some mana for say, AA which helps with reflect with Elementalist and Pyre conversion.
