Should I take Pestilent Pustules over Epidemic just in general, or just for bosses? I figured that the really good AoE of epidemic made up for it being more or less useless in single target.

Pesitlent pustules I use in single target and light cleave fights with bursting sores. So nythendra, ursoc, cenarius, dragons and xavius

Epidemic is great when there are lots of little ads that stack up and you can spam it for the crazy aoe damage, like iglynoth and even the spider boss it has its uses.

So epi for iglynoth, mythic + and dungeons, and spider
PP for everything else
