My local gyms are stabilising and the lower ones keep getting kicked out but that causes the CP floor to keep rising.

It's basically at 2k minimum now, so it's been hard trying to fill in spots because I don't have many over 2k.

But that free daily income is so sweet. Makes the grinding worth it.

Wouldn't Niantic just be able to figure out that your phone and the bot phone keep hanging out under the same Pokestop the bot is luring? And if you do more than one account, that your account is under the Pokestop every time it's lured?

Sure, it's the best defending moveset. Just make sure you use it to actually defend gyms, not attack them.

Well it's semi-usable now.

The tracker list seems to sort by proximity again, and the tracker actually updates better so you don't have despawned and out of range Pokemon persisting in the tracker box until you restart the game.

So it's like, if you want to try, you can track the Pokemon reliably.

the game measures distances by periodically polling gps coordinates. walk in a straight line to maximize accuracy.

It still drops checks every once in a while.

The silph road guy had 100% reliability because he was spoofing on a desktop that had wired ethernet that drops packets less than a cell phone.

Every time your phone says "GPS SIGNAL NOT FOUND", that was the exact point in time when the phone tries to update the distance counter and failed. If it failed, then you just lost the past 60 seconds' worth of walking. That error message doesn't pop up randomly, it pops up at the exact point when it tries to contact the servers to update the distance.

do nests rotate spawns every few hours? been scanning a park near me all day and its normally manders, then there was a bunch of clefairys and its been 3-5 hours now, and its manders again.

They don't rotate. It just means you have two nests.

The nest just kept spawning 1-2 Scythers every hour so I'd sit there in the middle of the stands with my phone and laptop all day because it was the closest I could get without jumping onto the field. Got so much work done and there was a Pokestop in range so I'd spin that all day too.

Had one of the assistant coaches ask me last week if I was a spy from another school and hint that they don't like it when people watch them practice all day. I guess it's for the best. I couldn't get good access to the spawn point from a hiding spot under the bleachers so I would have to show my face every time a Scyther showed up.
