At least with CS:GO everything in the crates is cosmetic as far as I'm aware. In games like the EA Sports titles buying packs can give you a sizable advantage over other players

So basically, the maps are free to play in matchmaking, but if you want to play on them in private horde/versus/custom games, then you have to buy them seperately or pay for the $50 season pass.

Any word on DLC characters? They did a great job with the extra characters in 3.

I'm pretty sure a bulk of the characters are in Gear Packs, the standard ones will be unlocked via Rank I guess, so hopefully Emergence Dom and Hoffman are gonna be in MP.

Vintage JD is exclusive to season pass

I just want the Carmine brothers, Commando Dom would be nice too.

But that's just an alternate skin/color for the default character right? Not a whole new model like say, Classic Marcus/Old Marcus.

You know, back when Halo 5 was little more than a blip on the horizon, before we could even dream it was going to be as disappointing as it was, I thought there might actually be some interesting ideas for what they could do.

One idea I had was a way of providing exposition on the current conflict while incorporating a potentially interesting gameplay component. Basically, the geas activated in Halo 4 would awaken an ancient human imprint in Master Chief, which would comment and provide insight into plot occurrences; sort of a Cortana replacement in a way.

Furthermore, the memory could trigger segments (such as those experienced by Bornstellar while under the Didact's imprint) wherein Chief shifts into a scene of combat 100,000+ years ago during the Human-Forerunner War, where the player plays as the ancient human in combat utilizing fully advanced tech and fighting Warrior-Servants, Prometheans, Sphinxes, etc.

Pity we got what we got, though.

When I go to select a map it will only show one page of my bookmarked maps. I could scroll down off screen, but I can't see what I'm scrolling through since the pages don't switch
