What sort of car are you looking for and what kind of driving do you do?

I'm looking for anything with good mpg, because I mostly drive to and from work, suburb area. Every other weekend I drive ~200 miles out of state and back.

Ok suggest one of the panther cars, Crown Vic or grand marquis. They care comfy for long spells in the car. Get pretty good MPG on the highway (30ish). Relatively easy and cheap to fix. They are not performance cars, they are cruising cars.

Seriously? How the fuck do you roll a car?

Kill yourself.

Panther cars?

Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis. The chassis is referred to as Panther platform by Ford.

This isn't /b/, dickhead. Make a useful post or shut the fuck up.

Do you have cash or are you looking to finance like a cuck?

As much as I like Panthers, no way would you get 30mpg. My CVPI gets 22mpg, a civilian version may get 2 or 3 more.

Since your dad is a Chevy guy, he may like the late 2000's Impala, almost. As big as a Crown Vic, they have a V6 and fwd. There is a SS version that has a V8 that deactivates 4 Cylinders while cruising for mpg. It's still fwd though so no skids.

It was a useful post. Anyone who rolls a car is beyond help and should stop driving immediately.

Ive heard of 2.73 gear Grand marquis getting around 30 but they may be 80 year old women doing 50 down the highway too.

By going fast and hitting a slight dip? Is this a physics question?

Cold hard cash.

>driving too fast on an unfamiliar road
If only natural selection had done it's job...

It was actually because of a tire blow out of a truck during moderate traffic. 65 mph, about two car lengths back, unable to swerve because in the right lane and cars to left, tread caught up in front wheel, skid off road. I think I did pretty damn well, not hurting anyone else. Lrn2drive fool.

Glad you're okay. Sorry this board is full of faggots. There are plenty of good cars in your price range. Sounds like you aren't looking for a performance car, just a car that gets around. I would recommend a pre owned Honda accord V6 from a dealership. If it's from a dealership and its certified pre owned, it will usually have a warranty and won't be all nigger rigged and you will end up with a decent car. Honestly just stay with big name brands and you should be fine. Check out your local dealerships websites pre owned sections, if you have any questions about a car you can come back to this thread.

Pick one

Post your local Craigslist. Mileage isn't important at all. How it was maintained is more important.

Check Rentals too. People may drive the shit out of them but the Rental companies are more reliable when it comes to maintenance like oil changes. My parents New Yorker was a rental and they have had very little trouble with the car.

nice meme can i borrow it

Really? Like I said I've always been told never to buy a used car with more than 100k and always to look for way less. Idk most people think 100k and its on its last legs.

It all depends on if it was maintained properly
