IIRC, Kunos made some offhand comments about AC2 being in early stages. In truth, its probably the main project at this time. Games just don't get built from top to bottom in a year or two. It takes many years. Theres probably pressure to focus on it now after SMS announced they're all in on PC2 now, as well as the upcoming Forzas and Codies offerings in development.

They like to pretend AC is still the focus, but note how they keep releasing paid dlc's, and are fucking over the mod community to appease the big mfrs, and all that. Those are not signs of long-term support.

Will AC2 have the mystical simulation of "no you don't actually get free power by pressing the gas while your engine is at 0 RPM because you didn't use the clutch"?

well it was downgraded into 720p. It looks better in full quality. Car models are the most detailed, everything else is pretty meh though
