Because women are buying cars just as much as men, if not more due to how often they total them. As an auto maker, you have to appeal to the customer.

Those aren't stereotypical anymore because everyone buys crossovers, suv's, hatchbacks, family sedans, coupes in that order, and the demographic gaps between each category is pretty big.

I fall into the latter category; my price range for financing and deposit was about the large hatchback level for a 3 year old car. So I got a hatchback, and it's fine because I don't give a shit about how feminine it looks because I'm not an insecure manlet.

I've seen FAR more grandmas in 205 than in K10 Micras.
But I've seen literal shit tons of grandmas in K11 Micras and normal mothers in K12.

They are femmy. I bought a 01 vw golf 4door hatchback and fell in love, changed my view on hatches. Zero shits given in my turbo chick car pushing 205 hp. Fun as hell to drive.
