Have you ever been unjustly pulled over and fought it in court? Stories?

no.

sorta; more accurately the cop was an idiot and the system tried its hardest to get paid as much as possible
>cops are cuffing me for DUI
>his partner is looking at him in disbelief
>admitted I smoked weed that day and had a beer two hours ago, major fuck up
>car gets impounded
>go get blood drawn
>later find my BAC level was lowest detectable amount (.001)
>spend night in the can
> get out, 100% mad
>talk to real lawyer
>tells me I have a strong case
>tells me that cop is a re-re
>tries to charge me $2k flat fee for DUI case
>kek, no thanks
>have to guide my public defender into the "cop is a retard" defense,
>she doesn't believe me, actively tried to undermine my story
>until the blood test shows up
>then instead of actually defending me
>she colluded with the assistant DA to
>charge me with DWI for admitting I smoked weed, with a plea deal to
>compel me to get a state medical marijuana card
>and charge me with a seatbelt ticket,
>for my passenger
>which is why I originally got pulled over (read: since my ex was a dumbshit)
still cheaper than paying a real lawyer, but If I had I could've gotten off scott free
>filing a civil suit for unlawful arrest would have been like a $5k retainer fro the real lawyer

>tl:dr I had to do all the legwork to prove that a literally retarded cop couldn't tell his elbows from his ass and they still slapped me with the true charges that I violated (kinda) plus an impound fee

What the cop did wrong:
>told me to comply or he would arrest my ex
>wasn't nice and let me leave my truck where it was legally parked
>put my handcuffs on wrong
>hit on anything that had a vagina, which allowed me to
>walk away from the cop, through a set of doors and wait for him by the cruiser while he failed to get some cooze
>held my field sobriety test next to a fire engine with lights and siren going off

>this was all several years ago
>reading the paper a few months ago
>stupid pig got promoted to detective
GGWP JUSTICE IS SERVED

...

>pig got promoted

> Home from first year college
> Get some late night diner foods
> Riding home in friends Jeep
> Jeep wrangler, oversized tires, like 2-4" lift
> Has trouble breaking the speed limit
> Cruise up to a red light at a T intersection
> We're going straight, the T part is a bridge to a town we weren't in
> Stop at the light
> Go through the now green light
> Drive approximately 1/4 mile
> Suddenly three cop cars
> Where the fuck are they going?
> Two lane road
> They're not passing us
> Guess we're getting pulled over
> Cops come up
> WHY WERE YOU GOING THAT FAST WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU
> Literally what because 45 in a 40 isn't that terrifying
> YOU WERE DOING 83 ACROSS THE BRIDGE WEAVING THROUGH TRAFFIC
> We wut
> GIVE ME YOUR ID
> We were not on the bridg-
> SHUT UP GIVE ME YOUR ID AND REGISTRATION AND INSURANCE
> Get a ticket for speeding
> Reckless driving
> Fight that shit in court
> Present receipts from the diner, on our side of the river, with times on them
> Pre smart phone era so no GPS tracks or shit to show
> Cop says "YOU'RE LYIG I FOLLOWED THEIR TAILLIGHTS, JUDGE"
> Tickets upheld, friend gets huge ass fines and points

Really solidified any doubt about 'fuck the police' that I had. Fuck them all.

I went to court and the cop didn't show. Might be worth trying your luck.

The one time I was actually accused of something I didn't do:
>driving along a road (~55), see cop in the oncoming lane, shift down into 3rd and slow down, in hopes he doesn't give me any shit.
>see him do a three point turn behind me, floor it to catch up to me.
>Disco_lights.webm
>get pulled over
>Have license and insurance ready.
>>license and proof insurance please.
>Bunch_of_bullshit_questrions.wav
>>do you know how fast your were going?
>Get pulled over right next to a sign stating the speed(50 mph).
>Uhh, I was going 45/50, sir.
>>You were going 70. and you had your high beams on.
I got the ticket, fought it in court, cop did show up after nearly two hours of me waiting for him. It got reduced to a parking violation, and although it was more (~$200) no points or notification to insurance.

Has happened twice to me as well. Walked out quite happy.

dash cams would have prevented this.

I got a ticket for registration out the day I was going to get it inspected and registered. Turns out theres a fee when you get a ticket and then renew. And now I have to go to the courthouse to get them to dismiss it. Cop didn't really care I was 2 minutes away from the shop that does inspection.

What do you recommend

i have no idea i really need to get one myself

It would have.

But that wasn't really a thing in 2004 for most people.

It is today. And I have them.

Yeah it was touch and go

>Syncro/gearbox pops going from 1st to 2nd to 3rd
>Gets stuck in 1st and wont move going into 2nd at all
>Box grenades
>rears lock
>spin into a fence at 60km/h
>Walk away perfectly fine
>Cops cite $600 for 'dangerous driving' even though the accident was completely out of my control
>Judge lets me off with no fine/record and 12 month behavior
>inb4 falcunt etc etc
Something went really wrong because i just remember the clutch wouldnt engage or disengage before or after the accident.

Shits fucked

Not me, but my brother did
>be in high school
>driving with two friends in pontiac shitbox
>driving past school one evening
>come up to stop sign at T intersection
>road meets T at 45 degree angle at the crest of a hill
>tree's right up against roadside
>general shit-tier intersection and visibility
>start to pull out from stop sign
>see car coming up hill rapidly
>already in intersection, gun it to get ahead of the approaching car
>dickhead cop hiding in cemetery just past the intersection
>pulls out and follows brother for about 5 blocks before pulling him over
>says he clocked him doing 35 in a 20 mph school zone
>there were only minutes left for the school zone time
>is already over by the time the cop pulls him over
>pretty sure cop was profiling him by taking so long to pull him over
>brother is white and had long hippy hair at the time
>one friend in car is puerto rican
>other friend in car is black
>also the first time he's ever been pulled over
>cop slams him with $450 ticket
>bullshit.jpg
>takes it to traffic court
>no pictures or evidence to back up what really happened
>agree to reduce it to a 10 mph over ticket not in school zone
>still had to pay about $100

>Get into relatively minor car accident
>cop doesnt see it, but gives me a ticket
>go to court
>judge throws it out

easy

I have a few weird stories about being pulled over
>going 55 in a 40 in crx
>didn't see 40 sign
>get radared, cop walks out onto road and sigals me over, puts be in back of cop car?
>inspects my car through the windows and comes back
>gives me huge ticket and let's me go
Why did he put me in the back of the cop car?

>driving down main St.
>driving beside cop
>he keeps looking over at me, goes behind me
>I turn, he turns and puts on lights
>asks for license and registration
>goes to car, comes back
>asks me to come with him, pit's me in back of cruiser...
>another cop car comes, he gets in for like 20 minutes
>comes back let's me out, tells me to have a nice day
That was like 3 and a half years ago, still don't get it.
To be fair I was selling weed on and off for a long time and I think somebody was reporting my vehicles as suspicious maybe?
Probably.

My step-dad broke down on the highway and got a cop to drive him home.

The cop put him in cuffs and in the back of the car and had to uncuff him in front of our house

This, easiest way to prevent this

Yea. I have.
>Cop gave ticket for unsafe backing
>Goto court
> Judge asks cop what happen
>Says he never fully witnessed me do it.
Judge instantly throws it out

Cops are bro tier

Every time I get pulled over I get a warning

Feels good being white

I always laugh at you delusional morons. You're all about sucking that cop cock, then one day when one pulls you over and your luck runs out, you'll be laying on the ground with a knee behind your neck and your face smashed into gravel within the blink of an eye, being screamed at from 3 different directions, and the only thing you'll be able to think is, "b-bb-b-but you guys aare my friends, why u doing this ;(" by a "crime" you didn't commit or were oblivious to.

Pro-tip: the police are not your friend. Avoid them at all costs, even when you aren't doing anything illegal. Let them go about their business, because you do NOT want to lay into the biggest gang in America.

This is coming from someone who has 2 family members and a friend who are both state and local police.

This
>doing 85 in a 65
>rip passed cop
>he pulls me over
>give him my paper work
>he comes back and says "just a warning no reason to be going that fast though"
>"thanks sir have a good day"
>pull back into the highway and he pulls over a guy who came flying up behind me even though there was a lane wide open
WHITE IS RIGHT

Yeah but they keep the darkies in check

It's a necessary evil

They are definitely a necessary evil. That's why I said avoid them and let them go about their business because they can and will contort anything you say against you in order to fabricate a reason to arrest you.

I realized this when I went out to the local bar one night and saw 3 off duty police officers with a few underage girls (knew they were because one was my friends sister and she was in high school) and they were just feeding them drinks. No one gave a fuck, nor could anyone say anything because it's a small town. So the next morning my brother tells me (who is a police officer) that after they were done at the bar, apparently the police officers had the girls drive the car they brought to the bar back to one of the officers houses, they had an orgy and sent the girls (who were drunk) on their way home. The girls hit a telephone pole on the way home that night and called the officers. The officers then called the on-duty police to go out and take care of everything. The whole thing was swept under the rug, and the only reason anything got out was because one of the girls was bragging about it to her friends.

Like I said, the police are not your friends, they are the scum of society who want a power trip and it's a rare occasion that you get an honest one who upholds any level of valor, honor, integrity what-have-you. These people are collecting a paycheck and the authority to lock people up.

Jesus fuck underage drunk girls

That's some dirty shit

If there was a ven diagram of things that happened and your story, there would be no overlap.

You sound like an enlightened 16 year old.

I haven't the slightest idea what you're implying in your post.

No really, speak without metaphors like a normal human you fucking autist.

I used to get unjustly pulled over in my mustang weekly.

One time I bought tags but when I put the new tag on my plate I accidentally put it on the wrong car. So I took the second one and put it on my mustang and just left the old one on the front. A month later I get a letter from the DMV that my tags were faulty due to a computer error and I need to come down to get a replacement. But I was to lazy to do it.

So the next time i get pulled over for driving a mustang the cop notices my tags being messed up. When they are looked up they dont show up in the data base so he figures im using stolen plates and have to show up in court. Also didnt have my registration on me.

Show up in court and present my registration and get all charges dropped. Cop was there with a disappointed look.
