A car makes me feel free, at one, lively, and just an all around great feeling. Even being in an automatic econobox has a fun feeling, just to be free and have the childish like ambition to go places and do things.
Things change when an Auto turns into a Manual. The feeling of being connected to a car has more of a feeling then a girlfriend at some times. To try and describe it to someone who has never driven a manual, it feels like one of those movies where the big ass robot opens up to be controlled by a person.
When it comes to a performance car, that robot is more bad ass, being able to perform better, and give a more of alive feel to the person in control.
Taking yourself from a performance car, weather it was straining at the lease or just a peppy hatch back, to get into something that is not performance related. Is a great feeling. Like getting out of that absolutely mental robot, taking all your skill and experience and getting back into the boring robot. Using your skill and experience to have fun, to have a fantastic time and just put a smile on your face.
That's how a car makes me feel.
