If the data was available for every month on the current %s, it'd be more relevant, but given that ps4 still pulled in a shitload of new players (which is why they couldn't just rollback returner), I'm of the opinion that it did indeed have a relevant lopsidedness to it.

They aren't dead at all, the community is just retarded and elitist and thus only hosts them on the most populated blocks so you can't join them without premium.

You do realise that it's a catch 22 right? They do them in the most populated blocks because people there do them. If you go to a lesser full block you'll find nobody will join you simply because there's nobody else doing it there.

If the block system didn't exist and it was simply a queue system, the problem of "I can't find a party because only block x is doing it and I can't get in there because I'm not premium/don't idle for hours so I can join it in the 5 second period it's not completely regular full at 5am jst" wouldn't exist.

the channels themselves are not the problem. the premium space, and the fact that it's treated as contiguous with the non-premium space so that if a non-premium user leaves a totally free block it just lets another premiumfag get in, now that's a problem.

Well the way I envision it would basically be the same as it is currently: you can either queue for a 'general' quest, where it'd simply start a new quest for queuing once it was 12/12, or you can restrict it to a locked quest as it is now.

The "no npcs" flag would actually do something then too, as opposed to how it works right now (which is basically locking you out of quests people who don't have that flag set participate in).

It's probably better that it's the way it is right now though because you just know sega would fuck it up like they have every other implementation of things.

You can dismantle them into crafting parts and trade for passes if you're premium, but that's it.

I wouldn't expect to ever be able to turn them into Excubes or Photon Spheres at this point as I'm pretty sure Sega regrets making them so easy to get after Magatsu, but I guess things could change later on.
