Anyone ever try to lose a cop if they try to pull you over?

Anyone ever try to lose a cop if they try to pull you over?
Thinking about doing it for the rush

Do it, record results

If you think the cops camera had a chance of seeing your plate, it probably already did. You would need to be blowing by a parked vehicle so they don't have a chance to even get close.

You better have a fast nondescript motorcycle to have any good chance OP.

Frosty plz

Wear mask, take off license plate, and then go racing.

One night several years ago my buddy and I were cruising around in his Evo 9. Things got a bit too hektik and we drew the attention of a police Charger. Since the cop was stopped and parked when we flew by, we were pretty sure he didn't see the plate and said fuck it keep going. Quickly turned down a side street while the pigfat cruiser was trying to catch up and we lost him pretty easily through back roads because lolcantturn.

We made it to his house, pulled the evo in the garage, and stared out the window for like an hour expecting the cops to roll up and arrest our asses. Luckily nothing ever happened. Man, I would love to be 18 again. Neither of us would do something stupid like that now.

>crusing around with uncle in his 70s pontiac firebird
>going way over the speed limit
>disco lights behind us suddenly
>uncle turns sharply and floors it when we break the line of sight
>by the time the cop rounded the corner to follow us I could barely see him in the distance
>we make another turn and completely loose him on the back country roads

>Anyone ever try to lose a cop if they try to pull you over?
Yeah.
>Be 17 still in HS
>Friends and I are out doing juvenile delinquent things
>Tore up the principals yard, smashed his mailbox, road racing
>Friend is driving a 98 Mustang GT, I'm in a 1988 Z31 turbo
>We're well above the speed limit on some back road
>Car coming at us, headlights look like a vics
>As we pass it brake lights emit and it starts turning around
>Drop to third and pass my buddy
>Heading towards the river as I can hit Stewart Rd and bail into the back of my grandparents property
>My passenger calls my mates passenger and tells him what's going on
>Disco lights in the rear view
>We have a tremendous lead for awhile
>With every straight he gains on us
>Eventually made it to my grandparents property and dove into the woods
>Parked in one of the trails and watched towards the road
>Disco lights go down the road and keep going
>Light up the joint I had and we hideout till 4 or 5 am

I miss being young and dumb. I wouldn't even consider that anymore. Hell, I haven't even smoked green in a few years.
>No longer even have a cool car

>Thinking about doing it for the rush
It's worth it. We had a blast.

>ride supermoto, always get away
>now have street bike, got my first ticket
to be fair it was night time and they tailed me from a distance, when they got close then they hit the lights, i had no choice at that point, it was an explorer CHP.

>3 ton pig fat slow boomer car
>turns sharply
Lol no
>losing a police vehicle
Shit that never happened

>2002
>rural Midwest
>Junior year of college
>drive 1988 Bronco II
>drove recklessly all the time but never crashed or got pulled over
>live in mid-sized city and have boring office job now
>have two kids so have to DD boring Honda Fit CVT

Kill me, I wish I was young and stupid again.

Twice on 95 only because the trooper was stopped. As soon as I passed he started pulling out but I was already at 90 so I just downshifted to 4th and dragged it out. Got off the first exit and hid behind a warehouse. I seen him coming over the hill when I shifted to 5th but I already had a mile on him.

I did it once

>Coming home from a friend's house, live on other side of mountain
>it's late, speeding down mountain pretty good
>hit every green light through town, just don't bother slowing
>doing like 85mph through town
>see the cherries fire up behind and to the side of me as I turn off the main road
>immediately turn into a church parking lot and move behind it
>sit there and wait for 10 minutes
>go home, no problems

Another time I was just pulling over, but circumstances made me get away

>Driving home from work along river
>speed limit is 45, it's dark
>some asshole truck doing 20
>few cars between me and it
>few cars behind me
>already in a bad mood, say fuck it and stomp on it
>halfway through passing the truck, lights come on behind me and pull out of the line
>like a good citizen, I pull in front of the truck and pull over to the side of the road
>truck passes me while cop is passing truck
>flies right past
>give it a 10 count and pull back out behind the line
>see cop up ahead with spotlight on, lights going, tearing down the road
>he comes flying past us again a few minutes later
>since it was dark I guess he couldn't make out details, so I got away

Damn I'm jealous that sounds awesome.

Ran from cops a few times on foot but never in car. I live in a massive neighborhood in charlotte with a million different roads and ways to turn around I know I could lose a cop if I ever cop chased close enough to get in there.

>25 mp/h delta-v to speed limit
>police assumes you're speeding
unless it was a closed lane (no overtaking allowed), there was zero reason to go bright n loud on you

Have done, and yes it is a rush like no other.

The ol high school adrenaline rush, I miss it

My dad outran a State Trooper in a Porsche 911 Turbo back in the late 80's in the middle of nowhere Texas. Got out of sight, then pulled into a junkyard and killed the car and watched the Trooper blow past. Don't think you could get away with that shit nowadays.

never ever run if theyre allready behind you lights on unless your a liter bike. As a car your best bet for running is if you pass a cop going the opposite direction allready doing something noticeably illegal like skids/speeding. then you ussually have enough time to bury your foot and start hitting side roads and often can escape.

Man you guys lived, I wish I had a driver license

It's doable and i have ran several times, but here's what you need.

>Blindingly fast car or a bike
>Know how to drive it
>No traffic
>Freeway
>No plates

The cop will light you up, you can floor it to the next exit before he can react to call in backup, take the exit and hide in a side st for a few hours.

Don't engage in a prolonged chase unless you live in sweden (special shit goes down there)

Live in backwater nowhereseville.

One day exiting the general store a chase went through town.
Got to chase on my baiku for a while good time.

I never ran tho

I once tried to overtake a cop that was trying to slow down traffic. The stupid fuck nearly hit me

It was a double yellow, I passed multiple vehicles at once (I don't know if that's a thing), and I was probably doing 60 by the time I got up to the truck.

>doesn't realize how light old slush boxes are

>3,500+lbs
>light

hell yeah motherfucker
t; loud exhausts are not conducive to this

>turning a traffic ticket into a felony
Nah I'm good.

>implying you'll receive a felony for first offense

And then everybody clapped
