One copy of a luxury benefits up to 4 cities. So 4 cities are always obligatory, even if you don't have many luxuries. If you have 2 copies of a luxury, that benefits 8 cities instead of 4. And so on.
William Anderson
Fucking Lazy OP. All you had to do was upload a fucking leader wallpaper or jump on Civ Memes for 5 minutes. Don't ever pull this shit again. Faggot.
Logan Hall
Do you get a bonus if you have more luxury than needed?
Rude.
Gavin Kelly
on all difficulties?
Aaron Parker
Victoria's voice gives me a boner.
Jonathan Phillips
Aztecs get 6 cities per amenity.
>Do you get a bonus if you have more luxury than needed? Yes, though it seems rather small (10% growth, 5% on non-food yields).
(no, that isn't actually main theme of Civ VI, it's the early build theme)
Josiah Johnson
Gay.
Christian Baker
I want to see SFM porn of Cleopatra and Victoria having a tantric threesome sex with Marbozir while Filthyrobot sits on the side and watches
That's pretty cool actually.
Nathaniel Roberts
If it scales with anything it's probably map size rather than difficulty.
Xavier Brown
That looks like a shitty mobile game. Clash of Clans or something similar.
Luke Lee
yes, on all difficulties and map sizes, and yes, you get bonuses if you have more luxuries. also if you have copies of luxuries, you can trade them off until they get used by your cities. (this happens automatically apparently) so if your capital spawns by 3 diamonds, those other 2 won't just be shit trade fodder.
Jace Anderson
>That ancient America theme
We are reaching levels of Comfy that shouldn't be possible
Ian Allen
I think aztecs can effectively do ICS or something like it.
Dominic Morales
Plus they get combat strength They are going to be nuts
Jonathan Green
I just hope there isn't a civilization that starts with a harp. I fucking loathe the harp.
David Carter
Greece will probably start with the Lyre. Are you okay with the Lyre.
Benjamin Cook
>ICS ?
Andrew Cooper
Holy shit, I wasn't paying much attention to Civ 6 before, but recently I've become hyped as fuck, I literally can't stop reading and watching materials about it. I can't even look back on Civ 5, I want to play the new one RIGHT NOW
>They are going to be nuts So far, almost all civs look like having BNW Poland power
Wyatt Cox
infinite city spam.
Camden Cook
This, a week ago the game was barely on my radar [except as the occasional chance to complain about the newest ugly leader reveal], but now I guess i'll end up buying the damn thing on release day
Gabriel Gutierrez
Irritable Canal Syndrome
Daniel Carter
>tfw not getting it until next year because linux I could make a windows VM or something but ew
Connor Miller
That's the thing about this game, and I'm not sure how to feel about it. Each civ feels so good and specialized for their role. In a weird way, EVERY civ is OP. Every civ is Venice.
When everyone's OP, Nobody will be.
Dylan Davis
I'm probably fine with the lyre. It's just the specific sound of a harp that triggers me. It was played every day of pre-K during nap time and now I can't stand it.
Connor Perry
Yeesh. Where the heck did you go to school? Or did you have a hippy for a teacher.
Henry Adams
It was a run of the mill daycare center. They played the same fucking harp tape every day.
Oliver Bennett
my life is in shambles and all i find comfort in is shitty 4x games
civ 6 leak when?
Nathan Roberts
How does that work? I feel like you'd have to be building so many settlers you'd never get anything done in the towns, and your happiness would be impossible to manage.
Grayson Murphy
Hang in there user. Three more weeks.
Jackson Hernandez
Infinite city sprawl. Basically a strategy that revolves around building as many cities as possible (like pic related) to benefit mostly from flat building bonuses (for example, +2 bonus to science/faith from Maya's unique building). It's not really viable in Civ 5 though because of stacking science and culture penalties for every new city.
Why won't you just set up a dual boot? Windows for games, linux for work.
Nathan Foster
I feel like the game has a problem of wanting people to go wide, yet still having civ 5 size cities that take up a 3 tile radius, compared to civ4 where they were only 2 which let you have more cities in the same amount of space. I'm watching FilthyRobot's streams and he's talking about 8 cities being the optimum amount, and he's taking up so much space and forward settling the shit out of the AI. There's no way 6 human players in multiplayer could all plant 8 cities, especially with fresh water being a major limiting factor. The spawns also seem kind of close.
Julian Ramirez
Would you give her your dick?
Brandon Richardson
She looks ugly in that webm, but in her initial introduction she's kind of cute.
So yes. I would give her my Penor.
Austin Sanchez
theres no global happiness in civs other than civ 5, so that was never an issue. you have to balance it out, of course, it isn't actually 'infinite' but it isn't that difficult. You can normally buy workers and whatever for your cities, and use a couple of them as 'production' cities for getting settlers out.
Henry Sanchez
>tumblr nose >red wine in champagne glass I'd give her a noose
Gavin Davis
is Catherine the crazy drunk aunt of Civ?
Aaron Roberts
I rarely find a game that won't work in WINE and doesn't have a native port.
Anthony Parker
>pic related Holy fucking shit
Benjamin Jones
The good thing about ICS in civ 6 is that district adjacency bonuses work across citites.
Joseph Ward
I don't go for old drunks
Julian Rogers
>World Congress >"Oh, you must be the servant. Take my bags and get the fuck out of my sight." >"Uh, Your highness, this is Mvemba a Nzinga. Leader of the Kongo people." >"He's the king? He's a negro!"
Alexander Williams
do disctricts destroy tile yields?
Nathaniel Garcia
Yes
John Scott
>"And what a negro he is!
Jeremiah Hernandez
>he doesn't go for anyone with remotely decent looking funbags
i bet you have a girlfriend and a loving family nerd
Liam Morgan
>implying Catherine lusts after anything other than Tomyris' massive futa horse cock
Aaron Flores
"Hey Hojo, you hear the news." "Oh shit, who did she fuck this time." "Pedro." "Shit, I bet Tomyris 30 turns of sugar that it would be Saladin."
Parker Wright
Exactly!
Chase Garcia
I just pictured her acting like Lucille Bluth from Arrested Development
Elijah Myers
>"Stop lying! Stop Manipulating! Just be nicer!"
Dylan Stewart
What do?
Connor Green
I have a feeling Norway will be maximum fun.
The ability to pillage coastal tiles from sea is SUPER powerful.
Owen Sanders
Fucking hell, are you losing in Science to the mongols?
Grayson Ortiz
Translation?
Jason Watson
I can't read that chicken scratch less'd I'd do it. Something about declaring war. I dunno.
Lucas Flores
costal tiles and civil units like worker just declare war from the start for little warmonger status or joint war later on and never enter a state of peace dont bother attacking his cities, just pillage the shit out of the poor motherfucker all century long
Noah Harris
>I’m talking about the fact that my “friend," Victoria, bought our city-state, and I think she’s going for a power grab— that bitch!
Adrian Fisher
>“And then he declared surprise war against me!”
Easton James
Anyone in these press copy playthroughs have Tomyris as a neighbor? I want to see her animations
Brayden Smith
do you have a source for this? I'd like to see if this artist has done more like this
Ian Rodriguez
> Look what they've done, Pedro! Look what the homosexuals have done to me!
Kevin Morris
I hope Civ IV has alot of cute art like this, SFM or otherwise. It reminds me of SMAC
Nolan Edwards
Tench @ tumblr, she's only done these two sketches, so far.
Jonathan Roberts

John Hernandez
Requesting this image but with Catherine De Medici
Joseph Jones
damn, its russian AND cursive
Cooper Gomez
Thanks m8
Adam Howard
Does Russia even get Steven Universe?
James Ramirez
Russia has internet, my friend
Leo Wood
Everything gay is edited out of it.
So no. Russia does not get Steven Universe.
Cooper Morales
Yeah but it is covered in rust and broken glass.
Jayden Turner
>play a game as Russia >a song comes up that is not a civ theme >i really, REALLY like this song >no name anywhere >decide to search through all music files to find it >turns out there is massive amount of music, some of which is really good, that I've never heard in-game seriously, what's up with that, i swear to god i haven't heard this masterpiece in game for example youtube.com/watch?v=QQEZBxaawxM
i still haven't found the song i'm looking for though
Aiden Davis
Kongo is going to be dangerously strong.
They get a unique Neighborhood earlier in the tech tree. They don't have to worry about founding a religion, because they get the founder beliefs of the dominant religion spread to their cities. And great works give them tons of bonuses.
The only downside is they can't do much if a civ is trying to get religious victory
Jordan Rivera
>“Tommy, holy fuck(you won’t believe this)!” Russia, not everyone swears every single sentence like you.
Bentley Wright
>PS. I never would have figured out that there was SMAC porn, but there is.
Matthew Williams
>i swear to god i haven't heard this masterpiece in game for example How often do you play Native American civs?
Also the song should be somewhere in common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\Sounds\Streamed\Music\Europe
Gabriel Myers
Are you telling me there's unused Civ 5 music when they keep repeating the same fucking song?
John Evans
Pretty sure none of it is unused. I heard the track he posted plenty of times. You're just unlucky.
Benjamin Cox
I've put all music files on a playlist, making sure to not duplicate anything, and according to my player there is exactly 1 day and 4 seconds of soundtrack.
Edit: Mistake about the link between the both posts.
Cooper Robinson
So we've all but confirmed that civs will have different leaders with unique abilities right?
Okay, I know this is often a trolling tactic but I'm dead serious. Do you think we'll see hitler?
I really think Firaxis should just sack up and put him in the game.
Michael Phillips
Not in a million years, son.
Landon Morales
It isn't an issue with firaxis not being this or that, it's an issue where censorship is still a big deal in germany. They still ban games for having nazi symbols/hitler in them, which is why most games have the iron cross now. The new wolfenstein game had to be completely censored and geo-locked to be released there. And this goes for dlc as well. I really doubt they want to open that can of worms.
William Gray
>Also the song should be somewhere in common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\Sounds\Streamed\Music\Europe Yep, found it. youtube.com/watch?v=3LeAjt82f8U According to some random youtube comment, this song plays only (or maybe just more often) if you play Russia
Jonathan Garcia
Firaxis wants to actually sell this game in Germany so of course not. You can't censor an entire leader with his own model and animations just for a different version.
Adrian Anderson
unrelated question
is there a way to turn on that side image preview box when you're uploading an image on windows 10? it's something I'm missing a lot from windows 7.
Anthony Garcia
>According to some random youtube comment, this song plays only (or maybe just more often) if you play Russia Yea, I don't think that's true.
Jack Stewart
You mostly tend to get tracks in your civ's "group", so if you're not playing as anyone in the America group you're not likely to hear it in game.
There's also era to consider and individual peace and war themes that can override the background peaces.
Ayden Reyes
I've heard this while waging war as Russia. Not very common though.
Nolan Mitchell
Some other guy is claiming that this soundtrack can play when you are at war as an European country in modern era, but I don't think it's the case either. It must be written somewhere in those XML files, but I'm too lazy to browse them at the moment.
James Campbell
this t bh
It's not like they have a particular problem with genocidal tyrants, they did include Stalin, after all. Granted he wasn't as bad and he made his country a superpower, but still.
Easton Miller
Careful, you'll summon /pol/
Christian Mitchell
WHAT FUCKING SONG IS THIS
Fucking hell. I know this is a traditional American folksong. I know I've heard it sung. But I can't fucking place it.
Liam Powell
>tfw you tend to avoid playing Native American and Middle Eastern civs because you find their respective music groups to be repetitive and annoying as fuck
I say this as someone from the Middle East, the European music group is way too comfy in comparison
