Opposite question for people who own both consoles, I've had 1000, 2000, 3000 & GO psp models since 2005 and now I play on vita all the time.
Never held ds/3ds in my hands, mostly because it was poorly advertised in my country, unlike sony. Should I finally get n3ds? From what I've seen many of you enjoy it as much. It involves some tinkering but I'm totally fine with it, since I like to understand how my shit works plus it has some comfy games.

I tried to install Taiko on my PSTV, but it's telling me this application doesn't work.

I used the newest Maidumptool to install the the game then patched it then installed the dlc and switched loading to type 5.

This is the first time I tried installing something with dlc. Can someone tell me what I did wrong?

you have install the patch and the game at the same time

the patch needs to be in ux0/patch when you install the game or it wont be patched

just move the game folder from ux0/app back to ux0/mai and try again

Just so woried about my N3DS its waifu and I dropped it HARD on metal and wood

I'm on an impasse here. Everything was going well on downgrading my 3DS, until I hit the install arm9loaderhax on it. The first problem was that the touch screen was all garbled up, but I followed the instruction, pressed Select and it all seemed to end fine, as I had the OTP.bin file on my SD Card.

I then turned it on and entered Luma, and set the specific settings before resetting... But after resetting, my 3DS no longer turns on, it just stays black. If I shut it down and press select while booting, Luma shows up, but that's it.

Did I fuck up somewhere? What do?

shit. ignore this actually I think the PSTV is your problem like the other user said. You need to install the thing that lets any game be played on it. Taiko doesn't work on PSTVs without it.

I figured it out, deleting the Home Menu data fixed it, it was Menuhax that was fucking it up.

I got to the part of the tutorial where I configured Luma3ds' settings, and I'm supposed to be updating, but now I'm stuck. If I try turning it on the blue LED turns on but nothing else does, and I have to hold for about ten seconds to turn it off. If I try turning it on without the SD card the blue led turns on for half a second and then turns off. I can get to the Luma3ds settings by holding select, but nothing else works.

What if the whole vpk is repacked to make the eboot as safemode? Will it still brick the vita?

Thanks, but I think I figured it out. There's a troubleshooting section that I should have checked first. Deleting the luma/config.bin and home menu extdata seemed to fix it. I rechecked luma's settings and I've got it updating now.

So it's been months since I installed a9lh and sfter checking the guide I see i can get my health and safety back after FBI is installed via cia.

i was unable to backup SysNAND to NANDmin.bin because there was not enough space on my 2gb sd card. So, i just went ahead and backed up my whole sd card to my computer instead and then continued to finish part 2 for the 2.1.0 ctrtransfer . I just realized that i might have fucked up. Am i fucked? or is the backup to the computer enough?

How is PSX emulation on an o3ds? Will I be able to play something like Digimon World 1 with a decent framerate?
