>driven by a blonde Texas housewife

>my generic shitbox.. clean tho, more than can be said for most
Thanks. To be fair I had just cleaned it. Even though it's a GM shitbox, it's *my* GM shitbox and my first car so I like it/10.

Saving up now to buy something much nicer in a few years. I'll probably hand this down to my brother when he can drive in a year or two. It's only got 95k miles on it and it's manual so I can start him off early.

I can barely drive stick kek

shitbox god here r8 and r8

Lincoln / 10

I like it well enough, but I still miss my '08 535xit. Wagons are fun.

Trump / 10. And negative points for a bumper sticker on a classic.

8 / 10 - Why grey?

4 / 10 (rust, color, NY)

Saabaru / 10

7 / 10 - Fun size reliable daily

2 / 10 - What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

4 / 10 - Basic, cheap, and pseudo reliable-ish

I'll give you your 7. Should have gone full retard and got a Hellcat.

Stock / 10. It's nice to see one not beat to hell and at least stock looking.

Car - 7.5 / 10. You - 3 / 10. Is that even your car?

Shit picture, ignored

Do you feel pretty?

This is not a build thread / 10

Try hard / 10

Looks clean enough, but I know literally nothing about these, so I'll pass.

Kissing cousins / 10

3 cylinder / 10

It's not bad, 7/10 because I have a soft spot for Lincoln, and I actually like the look of this car.

Here's my e39, I love it.

E39 / 10 - Don't you have a coolant expansion tank to replace?

I love my rwd shitbox, heres a pic after I washed it

Had to convert it to jpeg though

I know that intersection, but I can't place it...

I don't know where it was, I took it when I was waiting for my friend at the bank

>3 cylinder / 10
inline 3 is literally god tier

Seattle or Olympia?

Haven't had that issue- yet. And trust me, as much as I love that car, it has issues. The garbox is a bit weird, just had to replace the fuel pump, and there was recently a pressure issue in the left intake manifold. That said, the car is actually remarkably modular in terms of how easy it is to replace stuff- for a German car, anyway, and it's quite solid for having 180k on the odometer.

...

Seattle, why, you live around here?

What's the fire order? 1,3,2?

I've owned 5 of them (2002 540iT, 2003 540i/6, 2003 M5, 2000 540iT, 2003 525iT)

I'm aware of the E39 problems. The biggest problem they have is age and neglect. A showroom condition E39 is a thing to behold.

Ish. I bounce back and forth between Seattle and Olympia every couple weeks.

yes

>this car out-empeegees modern econoboxes and even hybrids
>nobody has tried recreating something like it
Also that thing looks fucking beautiful user. I bet it has some dings and scratches, I can see a few on the hood, but I'm sure it's been nothing but a trooper for you.

For some reason I really like this car. It just looks like an excellent country beater.

Cool, what do you drive

I completely agree with this. Most of the problems that mine has were caused by lack of well performed maintenance on the vehicle, and damage that has been done to it.

Even with its problems (and expense to maintain), I love this car to death. It's a dream to drive, and I love its look.

See

I'm in the process of tearing a 2001 750iL completely apart and rebuilding it. Fortunately it was cheap as hell, because it needed work.

It's an on-going project, but the goal is showroom condition. The cars never going to be worth what I put into it, I get that, but it's something fun for me.

>>nobody has tried recreating something like it

I love lincons, my buddys got an old towncar, super comfy

>>nobody has tried recreating something like it
literally European car makers

>kissing cousins
w-what
that's not an Iroc-Z sadly, you must have mistaken my Fiat Punto with it.

>4 / 10 - Basic, cheap, and pseudo reliable-ish
>basic
True. After I bought it, I can't seem to drive anywhere without seeing at least half a dozen other ones.
>cheap
Yep. Got it for pennies. It has pretty decent gas mileage too.
>reliable-ish
Also true. Besides the >GM quality, the 2.2l Ecotec plus F23 Getrag combination is bulletproof and most things are an easy cheap fix if they do break.

The reason why cars suck nowadays is because you can't die from them. You know I'm right.

>literally European car makers
user I said "nobody" though.

That's going to be difficult, but it does sound interesting. Good luck, I really hope the result turns out well.

>all people die in a 40 mph crash

LOL

Have some more

...

It looks like what I picture the cars of most of Veeky Forums looking like.
>4/10

...

>It looks like what I picture the cars of most of Veeky Forums looking like.
You have a much higher opinion of Veeky Forums than me. I picture a beat to shit, rusty, and 1990s Honda Civic with a Black Ice tree hanging from the rearview mirror.

JUST

Can't forget the Wat racing development stickers all over the damn thing. And passenger seats removed for muh weight reduction.

I like my MKS. Livernois makes go fast bits for it, and I'm liking their level 4 package.

>kissing cousins
It was a poor attempt at humor of calling the Fiat (500?) and Dodge Challenger brothers.

Cavalier - Adj - showing a lack of proper concern; offhand:

I think GM actually nailed the name for this vehicle. They can run "not right" for long enough, and want to say they were fleet vehicles for a while, but I can't recall.

Yep. I'm hoping to have it done in about 15 months. The disassembly is largely done. Need to strip it down to bare metal (seals, bushings, etc) and build it back up. The drive train will be sent off for rebuild in about the next 12 months or so. No point in having it done before I'm ready for it.

The one place I'm way over spending is the OEM EDC shocks. There are better options, but the goal is OEM, and I actually like them.

Cancer - The car (rust)

McFly, can you hear me? Joking, looks like it's fun to drive when you're not on the road.

Trespassing / 10 - Looks alright.

>JUST
Say no.

I don't like number rating systems so I'll just quote cars that I like, and would actually consider owning.

9/10
I have a thing for wagons.

7/10
I do like the Ryoko sticker though

I can dig it
8/10

8/10

8/10
I don't like those wheels, would be a 10/10

8/10
Don't fuck it up.

Fuck my shit up

Need to get rid of the stickers the previous owner put on it.

r8 my bird

I need to get a bunch of dents/scratches fixed and new shocks, but I've taken care of everything else and it drives gr8 now.

Would steal/10
