I just beat him and I just relied on my Oni to Poison Claw him to death. You can get an Angel that has a skill that gets rid of Smirk, forgot the name of the skill though.

You can pretty easily get the magatama and 2 or 3 demons in the underpass that null/absorb force to make Matador effectively unable to touch you

Of course I had her not learn that skill. I remember it coming up and got rid of it. Smirk was never this bullshit in 4.

It's implied by Nozomi that the Aether effected Inanna's mind to the point that she's not thinking rationally, though at the same time she's just desperate to exist again. Inanna herself wants to birth new gods in the new universe.

Krishna was the one taking advantage of Toki's obvious attraction to Nanashi to get her to transform into Inanna for his plans of creating a new universe.

You can get other shit in each. So I'd say get the Macca one since you need more for summoning/high tier equipment/armor boosts. You can get a couple of app points and EXP items to boost your MC. Demons is only for DLC-tier shit and Twisted Tokyo.
