You can't double with dragonstones and its power scales off magic so it stops being useful later on. Use it so you can be tanky for now but don't worry too much about it later on once you have tankier units and your sword becomes more useful

Eventually Dragonstone loses usefulness as doubling for a one round with the Yato becomes better.

Still really good for early game Revelation where you are basically playing Corrin-Emblem with his 2 bitches and Gunter.
