Ibuki has yet to have a player who has learned her fully, if that says anything about her. She's really difficult to use properly. Alex is garbage, though. Laura is fine

Alex is pretty boring and has low skill ceiling just play a fun character you don't have to do Sako shit day 1 and you can grow with the character

Ibuki's concept is pretty cool but she has no synergy with her spells.

if you cant break out of bronze I dont think its a good idea to be playing ibuki, shes hard in a lot of different ways, honestly sticking with alex is a much better idea as hes also a more solid character, if you are interested in ibuki and laura, laura is far simpler while also having an easier mixup game and neutral to understand, her execution requirements are also far lower as well and shes a better character to boot, ibuki is only for character loyalist or people with frequent suicidal thoughts in her current state

GGs, that was a great match. It's crazy how back and forth it went because of the insane fundamentals SFV requires. This is what makes fighting games so great!

But Alex is fun. He was more fun in Third Strike, but SFV he's still fun somewhat. Honestly Alex has been the only grappler I actually really play in any fighting game except Astaroth in SC2 who was one of my subs. I miss Soul Calibur so much.
