Are you in America? The Fit Sport routinely spanked the non-ST Fiesta in handling and road feel and was considered more fun to drive. Having driven both, it's not even a comparison. The Fit is that much better.

The Fiesta ST is of course miles ahead of both, though.

My Focus could even do the RELAXATION mode bullshit, where you can fold the front seats down flat, just lower the seat and push back and the seat would be that flat.

The bottom part of the back seats fold upwards, not the back folding forwards.

I just hit 33k in mine and I still really like my Fit. I do plan on buying a fun car eventually but my car does just fine. I use mine for driving to work, mountain roads, and the occasianal catering gig.

A mazda 3 hatch was my second choice but was out of my price range with the options I would have wanted. I wanted a manual hatch with a sunroof.

for what it is, i doubt you could find a better subcompact than a fit rs. fuck any other kind of fit though. if it isn't a truck or a van, you should always buy the performance trim, there's just no reason not to.
