Normal is great man, if you get an off shape waning BLT gem then by all means get a different one to finish the gemming process quicker, but Normal is just fine

if you aren't planning on farming off-shapes regular is the right form but if you do plan on farming for off-shapes lost is usually easier to fill considering it's one less radial and one waning slot so any waning you get isn't worthless ultimately off-shapes are random so you may have the right setup for any of the three so I'd +10 the regular bloodletter before farming and then keep a lost and a rock around incase you don't get the radials
