Been holding off on wasting peoples time with the Raid until I hit 380, because I'm considerate and don't want to be a burden. Hit 380 a few days ago, decide to wait for reset before bothering, last night a random I played the storyline through invites me, says they've got four of five monitors, and just need one more for Aksis.

Five attempts, two reconnects later, we beat Aksis, four of us for the first time.

Of course I got two of the Auto Rifle, so no sexy Scout for me, but I guess I can't win everything, and is it just me or is the Blind Perdition very solid in PvE? I thought the Hawksaw archetype would be underwhelming.

Weird question, but I didn't get Destiny until Taken King came out and have been playing it casually since. I did all the main quests, Taken King quests, all the House of Wolves quests and am now working through Rise of Iron, but I can't help but feel like I'm missing almost everything from Dark Below. I see bits and pieces of Crota's minions on various patrols, and I've killed Omnigul plenty of times and I've done Crota's End, but is there anything else to that DLC that I should've completed at this point? Were there any other Crota quests that I missed along the way, or did TTK make them now lost to me forever? So far I've only been getting Crota's Bane rep from fighting TTK enemies.

It just feels like I accidentally skipped over the bulk of Dark Below or something.

Can we just have a fucking general flowchart of the good perks for specific types of guns so we can cut down on the huge number of 'is it gud' posts every thread? Protip: 90% of it you should just shard for the marks.

The dark below introduced quests before quests existed as special multistep bounties, and in exploring this idea a few of the things you had to do were go knock sense into crota's goons. I assumed they would have been retconned into the new quest line but I guess not? I meant to go replay all the old content with the new quests but never got around to it.

What was that new move that was being made from a Rowling book? Something something creatures... it was supposed to be "The next harry potter" I wanted to know if the movie was out yet.

Holding off on finishing the Raid rather.

I first started the Raid at 363, played till Zamboni and took a break, did Zamboni and the first Aksis phase at 368 or so, and we gave up on him after about twenty tries because the idiots handling left kept dying.

Played through the Raid all the way up till second Aksis phase this week, was around 370 something. The team was absolutely awful in the first phase, so I got the hell out of dodge and decided to grind to 380 before trying again after reset.

I don't like wasting my time, and I don't like wasting other peoples time, so now that I'm at 380 I'm at no disadvantage, and can actually fucking enjoy the raid instead of being constantly aware that I'm being fucked by my light level.

What an odd question for /dg/.

Bummer, I needed a pickmeup, oh well.

Outbreak has hidden Fourth Burst perk though, the perk on the Raid Pulse that after 3 consecutive hit bursts, the 4th burst does extra damage. Its actually quite good for majors and the like because of it. But yeah, outside the raid its fairly useless.

any of those middle perks+rangefinder will make that gun really damn good
play around with shooting it at a wall and find out what you like smallbore or pb should be good

For PvE? Yes. Impact is what determines the weapons damage per bullet. Higher impact = better for PvE.

Generally speaking the lower impact variants have higher aim assist, mag sizes and inventory values letting you hold on to more in reserve. For PvP, use whatever you're most comfortable with.

I almost feel bad for the poor guys by now. Their vault and garden have been pillaged by just about everyone, they haven't had a major presence in any part of the game since the beginning, and a shitload of them were Taken by Oryx. It's not represented in the patrol, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Cabal were pushing them back on Mars by now.
