It would be the fastest N/A pony car to date, faster than the Hellcat and as fast as the gracious GT500. Only the previous and new supercharged ZL1 would be faster.

Until ofcourse the twin turbo Ecoboost 5.0 comes out for the new GT500 and puts down 750HP.

Assuming it has exactly as much power/liter as the 2.3 Ecoboost, yes, 750 would be possible with a 5.0, 760 might even work.
However, the Modular engine lacks the direct injection system, and since they're probably use a crossplane crank, they'll have some scavenging losses compared to the fourbanger. I don't think they'll get ~750hp, unless they actually manage to cram a direct injection system in there and go flatplane, or simply bump the displacement to the Trinity's 5.8L.

GM has nothing to compare to the GT. There's nothing to be butthurt about.

The C8 will be on the road in a year, it's been in development since 2010 and the only reason the 7th gen wasn't mid-engine is cause muh cost of production vs profits.

It will come base with a more aggressive 6.2 LT2 making 500HP, a "Z08" model with a LT7 making 550HP, a "MR1" 6.2 supercharged LT5 making 700HP, and MAYBE a supercharged DI 7.0 LT9 making 1000HP to fuck with the hyper cars.

First off, all 5th gen LT'sa re DI. Second, there's no way they'll make anything over 750 without turbo's. Consider the heat that Roots blower would have to make, even upgrading to a more efficient twin screw wouldn't help. There's no way to get that amount of heat out.

I hate ecoboost, and what Ford is doing with all their 'murican products.

American muscle car consumers, and racing truck consumers, dont want downsized turbocharged engines. They want big, supercharged engines. We've seen that a supercharged VooDoo can make 880+ horsepower at the wheels, and yet they're going to settle for a turbocharged truck engine in the GT500 thats going to piss previous GT500 customers off.

They already ruined the Ford GT, and now their pushing their hippy agenda onto the mustang. Soon the mustang "GT" is going to have 8 catalytic converters and a 1.6l turbo V6 in the name of "ecoboost"

And with all those parts the mustang is still faster and cheaper.
