Just left the Corvette museum, ama
Corvette
whats your favorite vette?
C3 or C7, pretty much anything other than 4 or 5 are cool.
whats the big cylinder behind the tire?
Oil cooler, not op, but fellow vetter usually where they put them
Did they fix the hole in the floor?
Glad I got to see the vette museum before the sinkhole. That looks pathetic, displaying heaps of metal they didn't take care of in the first place.
Can confirm, they talked about it on the tour of the factory. Keeps oil pressure up for track driving, or something around those lines
>inb4 can't compete
Yes, they have a whole room talking about the cars damaged and such. Pic in the OP is the last one pulled from the hole
how many people were there that weren't caucasian men over 50?
I think it's worth showing to see the eventual restoration look that much nicer.
I was the only one
Actually there were a few white women over 50 too
It's the oil resevior since the LS7 uses a dry sump oiling system, holds 8L of oil in the 06-08 and 10L in the 09+
>American cars so pigfat heavy they cause the floor to collapse
You can't make this shit up
^mad
wow 10 liters of oil
and I thought Volvo was shit for using 7 in their 4 bangers
yeah, but at least it uses common oil, and not some special blend that costs a fortune
the more horsepower a car is designed to sustain, and the longer the designed service interval, the higher the oil capacity is
prius = 30 hp in use (highway use) for 7.5k miles = 3.9 qt
nascar = 800 hp in use for 400 miles = 16 qt
class 8 truck = 500 hp in use for 25k miles = 56 qt
>c4 isn't cool
It's like you were never an 80's cocaine dealer you fucking fag
And there it is, finally. Took you long enough
>18 posts in a corvette thread before laptimes
