>be me >drive pic related, it's a Fiat Uno >no conditioned air, no cooling air at summer, no warmth in winter >stiff steering wheel >stiff gearbox >if i have an accident even at 50 km/h I basically am lucky to still live >if i have an accident insurance probably won't even pay me because the car is worth nothing and repairing it would cost more than car itself
Need advice for a used car, whatever is between 2005-present day. Nothing too expensive since I basically use my car to drive to work, and bars on nights out.
I already thought of Toyota Yaris or Ford Focus, but what are other cars that Veeky Forums can recommend me?
I prefer the term "pizza driver". But yeah you got the idea.
Carter Taylor
Fiat Uno is very reliable even more if equipped with FIRE engine, if you want something as reliable as the Uno you have to look for Fiat Panda Cross diesel version
Luis Hill
>diesel
Since i don't want to spend too much cash I'd convert it to a natural gas engine. Way cheaper on the long run. So the Panda is a good option but definitely not the version you just mentioned.
Elijah Campbell
LPG conversion is very good for mpgs if the installer is as good.
But for further infos I summon fellow fiat-fag mJet
Kevin Robinson
FIAT PUNTO, MOTHERFUCKER 1.4 FIRE ENGINE SHITS FIRE YO
Zachary Young
You know where a riced Punto would be on the cool wall, right?
Eli Cox
>he doesnt have the dual sunroofs
fucking poorfag
William Hall
just like Germany in 1934 on the far right
where the rice tho
Jeremiah Reed
That's one sexy Punto tho
Most models I see are poorly maintaned though, didn't think of it for that reason: I associated it with crappy cars.
Kayden Collins

Parker Kelly
t-thanks how about the Abarth Stilo or Barchetta?
Jordan Morris
Literally the shittiest fiats ever made, get a Coupè or a Bravo you faggot ricer
Jason Bennett
>Stilo Not to shabby actually, might think of that, just not Abarth. Not really interested in that line of cars, just need it for work/nights out/getting something better than a shitbox.
Hudson Jackson
are you italian? stop being a poorfag, save up 5k euros get an actual car. any diesel with 150 hp+ is cheap on fuel and has any actual performance. dont force yourself to drive shitboxes your entire life
Brandon Bell
This. Buy an Audi A3 TDI or a BMW 118d
Juan Parker
UNO is ok car but it's not really safe these days, one of the new ton and a half compacts crash into you and you're dead.
This is the reason I replaced old Skoda shitbox I loved so much with EG Civic and later Ford Focus.
Easton Hughes
the shittiest fiats ever made are still better than the best VW ever made, so nothing wrong with that. how many people you haulin? or big stuff? maybe an Chroma diesel would be jn your range.
Nicholas Morgan
>thing not actually true
Dominic Edwards
Average 150hp diesel eurpoor family car is way more depressing to drive than any of the 90's Fiats.
4 cyl diesel please kill me.
Grayson Bennett
> t. Böhser Onkel
Caleb Butler
yeah sure. have fun going 80 kmh and being scared thats totally fun lmao right lol lol
Zachary Clark
I would recommend mk1 Skoda Fabia, had fleet of these at work and they where very nice to drive, dependable and cheap to fix.
Models to look for:
- 1.4 16v 74kW - nice revvy twin cam engine, quite fast - 1.9 SDI - slow but not too slow, engine unlike TDI lasts forever and is very reliable, fuel consumption insanely low
Henry Thomas
this
Hunter Morris
Buy a used Grande Punto. You can get them cheap nowadays if you go for the first years of production. Try to avoid the 1.2 8v. They're a bit gutless.
>pic related, my diesel 2014 punto
Bentley Wilson
>Silvio did nothing wrong Kek A Fiesta wouldn't be bad, or even a Polo. Tbh I kinda like Polos. Maybe one of those daft Brabus Smart Cars?
Isaac Garcia
Yeah man it's real problem, you don't feel anything till you get like 3x over speed limit.
Honestly on back roads I have more fun hooning my offroader cutting corners everywhere and squeezing out everything it has than in my road DD.
Brody Butler
Older jap cars are bad choice for europe. Non oem parts are not readily available and everything is expensive as fuck.
If you order parts from US you end with $9 part $25 shipping and shitload of taxes on top of that all.
Carter Sanders
At least its not an automatic. Civic and cobalt would work too both have a sedan and coupe option that people here seem to like.
Isaac Jones
Or if you wanna have fun, buy a 500. In corner they scare the shit out of you
Jackson Morris
Italy is full of these shitboxes, especially the based Panda 4x4
Jayden Ortiz
>500 >Grande Punto >Chroma
These are the best choices for me so far.
>the shittiest fiats ever made are still better than the best VW ever made This, plus I don't really like Golf or Polos, there are so many around where I live that it's become old. I vomit everytime I see one.
Nathaniel Carter
Fill the trunk with concrete to gain a shitton of T O R K
Spero seriamente che voi ragazzi non facciate questo
Matthew Mitchell
what did they do with it?
Gabriel Wood
...
Landon Adams
Made it crash with a big rock falling from a helicopter, covered with tons of sand and shit. Still works tho
Lucas Harris

Come.
Lincoln Powell
>Meda, Bastianich e Valsecchi non lo sono
Porca troia se si vede
Levi Rodriguez
Al posto di Bastianich ci avrei messo quello sfigato di Fisichella o Aldo Costa o anche Gianfranco Mazzoni
Carson Allen
tutte ottime scelte, ma avrei messo valentino rossi :^)
>hey man, go buy a old as fuck japanese car so when it craps out on you you'll be fucked to get parts for it and the ones you get are overpriced as shit Burger, please. Stick to your market.
Jackson Roberts
This is a pizza thread now, go fuck yourself
Angel Lewis
Jap cars are cool, but older ones can be expensive to fix.
John Howard
In the UK and Ireland parts for 90's Japboxes are everywhere and cost nothing.
Maybe if you got like an R32 or Evo 4 or something your answer would make sense
Samuel Fisher
Don't even reply to him, he just craves the attention.
Kayden Fisher
A Twingo.
Why this hasn't been mentioned yet is beyond me.
>"what kind of engine do you have in your Fiat, user?" >"A FIRE ENGINE :DDDDDDDDDD"
Alright, I giggled.
Eli Brown
>just because it's like this in the UK, it must be the same on continental europe
Bentley Kelly
VW Polo 1.4 TDI VW Passat B5/B5.5 1.9 TDI/ 1.8T or W8 if you want a lot of fun and good sound.
Skoda Fabia (don't know which engine)
Seat Ibiza 1.9TDI / 1.8T
Ayden Allen
>W Polo 1.4 TDI
3 cyl diesel really
>w8
Most unreliable car ever made
David Hall
>VW
pls no, I really dislike them. There are too many where I live.
Brandon Miller
>I've never built, modified or in any way done significant work to a car and just shitpost for attention
There you go
Lucas Cook
Then go for BMW E46 or E39
Jose Gray
>built not bawt You talk like you have to be a ricer to know japanese parts are more expensive than european parts in Europe.
Just the fact maintenance of a japanese car is more expensive than in any other comparable european car says a lot. But then again, it's like I'm talking to a fucking wall, since you weebs can't do maths.
>500€ for the first fucking scheduled maintenance on a fucking Yaris
Jaxson Williams
>M-my Fiat is reliable r-right guys >J-Japanese cars are notorious for their high maintenance costs and low reliability r-right >Ireland isn't a part of Europe >UK Isn't a part of Europe >You were originally insinuating the USA anyway, where jap cars are still cheaper to repair
It must feel pretty fucking bad to just get continuously blown the fuck out every day.
>I looked up a random OEM Dealer price for a service
good joke mate, now try and service a BEEMUR that won't let you do anything unless you have a manufacturer computer adapter.
Henry Cook
I didn't look up shit, you autistic fuck. I used to have a shitty ass 1.5 Yaris in my home, back in 2000. My mother used it to commute in the city. The first scheduled maintenance was almost 500€.
Toyota is up there with BMW in maintenance costs, where I live. Now stop talking out of your ass.
