Question to everyone excluding people from USA.

What do you honestly think about Corvettes?

>it's another thinly veiled shitpost thread

Also, please don't try to shit-post on GTR-Corvette. Please write those in a paper and shove it up your mom's ass.

No, I'm not actually intending to start one of those threads.

they're shittier than GTRs.

no all wheel drive to grip the road

no rear seats or trunk space

no hot ladies that chase you

and you look like you're having a mid life crisis in one

We had one of these threads last month and all the Europeans pointed out all the hate for the Corvette comes from the United States itself, which makes sense since over 60% of Veeky Forums is American. Alphonse is American, just a shitty one.

Okay, good thoughts.
But I always see women falling for $50K Corvette's on gold-digger pranks.

they look cool and newer ones can turn. but not available in RHD so i wouldn't consider one. i've seen a few around here (in LHD) so obviously some others don't care about being on the wrong side but i wouldn't want to sacrifice that even if it's just a weekend car

I myself am French and I honestly think Corvette's a great car for the money(in the America's atleast). My friends love it too.

Maybe you're right that all the hat comes from America itself.

Yes, it's a great performance bargain but GM tried to make it too powerful and it ended up having many reliability problems. For example; GM recently told of re-calling and installing something on it to improve cooling.

Overall I feel like it's trying hard to be a Ferrari. I mean yeah fuck GT-R shit posting

They look like fun, but I don't think I'd DD one due to fuel consumption and GM build quality.

I honestly don't feel safe in or around GM anything.

Im breaking the rules here, but as an Amerifat... Im okay with what it wants to be. The only thing i dont like about them is that they're so small. Im a manlet (5'6") and i feel extremely cramped in them.

Is that height or width because I'm 5'10" tall and have had zero space issues in a C7 Corvette.

Corvette is the budgets performance car.
For the price you pay, you're getting an insanely fast car especially with the GS and Z06

I think I saw you on Reddit complaining the same problem. You the same guy that got downvoted to shit on /r/carporn?

I'm German and I like Corvettes
I'm too poor to afford one though, because I'm still studying, without a regular income

>RWD
>manual
>bulletproof v8
>$50k start price
>stylish af
>god-tier warranty
>worlds biggest aftermarket
>outperforms everything in its class virtually everything above.

nothing not to like t b h unless you're a butthurt [insert slower brand] fangirl, or can't get it in your country. Remarkable piece of engineering and value. It'd be nice if other makers followed suit.
this post will trigger someone

height. Granted i feel cramped in most vehicles. I sat in the C6 and my head was just an inch or so away from the ceiling with the seat all the way back.

Not me, i dont use that site. Im not saying i hate them, but after only driving full size trucks, almost anything seems tiny to me.

French here, and I have to say I'd really like to try one. The thing that is difficult for us is that we are used to performance car = high-end car. So it can shock us a bit when we see the interior of the Corvette, which let's be honest at least in pictures doesn't look very high quality; and that's maybe why even though it's sold here I never saw one irl. That and the fact that I think the only trim we get here is the 3LT which puts it in slightly used 911 territory, and let's be honest even though a Carrera is slower it's a much better car.
Lower on the food chain tho the Mustang is selling well, mainly because that's the cheapest V8 we can buy here. Even though again the only trim we get is the Premium with performance pack.

it's okay,i guess you get a bargain for what you pay, still for some reason i woudn't buy it.

>but does it have
ecoboost
It's not bad for an American car and it's come a long way, though it also took long to get to this point.

Also it's still too large for a two seater sports car. Those have absolutely no reason to be larger than an FD.

I live in scandinavia and over here they aren't any cheaper than Porsche for example, they don't have the advantage of affordability. No one really thinks much of them either way, except the old Stingrays which are obviously liked

>fake lap times

Ugly, plasticy cars with design for 12 year olds.

>mad the restaged comparison after the Vette issues were fixed made the Corvette faster
>b-b-ut they're fake
No they aren't.

>gm fangirls expect people to believe fake lap times
The corvette never set those times. Even motortrend knows that. Stay triggered.

>Yes, it's a great performance bargain but GM tried to make it too powerful and it ended up having many reliability problems.

The only engines that had issues were the LT4 which didn't have the cooling to back it up on the track and the early LS7s, otherwise their engines have been absolutely fantastic since the C4's LT1 came out. Shit on the Corvette all you want, but their engines are wonderful.

>Im a manlet (5'6")

How? I'm 6'2" and I have plenty of space in every model of 'vette.

>corvette
>performance bargain
Not really
