In what world do you live that a shitty z28 could beat an LFA around any track?

Check the times at the C&D lightning lap that they hold every year at VIR. The Z/28 is pretty fast.

The Z/28 is proof that you CAN polish a turd. It's a fast track car. Its terrible at being a drive all the time car. The engine and brakes are amazing. The suspension and solid mount bushings will send you to a chiropractor if you have shitty roads.

LFA was pointless vehicular masturbation. Should have had a real manual or a DSG, and should have had a longer production run to bring costs down. But something tells me they had trouble selling them at the price point they asked because of the compromises made in its design, i.e. that shitty gearbox.

I have a Z/28. There's an LFA local to me. Both get lots of attention, I'll still be driving my Z in 5 years. That LFA is already in the guys museum and locked down.

Definitely beats one around the ring.
