For anything normal I agree that cubby is pretty stupid, I think they just needed to fill space and didn't know what else to do with it. Maybe it's an ashtray in the Chinese market or something.

Not sure what feature that would've been, my ST is fully loaded and it's got the little cubby thing too.

Maybe there's an option on one of the non-ST Fiestas that fits there though.

The Titanium edition is the most fully loaded Fiesta. Does that get anything in the cubby?

I think it'd be cool if somebody made a fitted gauge/tuning pack that fit in there, kinda like the P3 vent ones but without ruining your vent.

Feel the top side of the opening. If there is some sort of latch hole, then maybe some optional accessory could fit or be plugged into there. Otherwise, I'd say it was leftover space from not buying the max options package at the time the new car was being bought.

The ST-200 (only available in europe) have some logo + buttons there.
