...

it's a generic soccermum car nobody should care about

...

So whatcha think Veeky Forums?

This except it's a bit cheaper. Big deal. No one will go offroad in this.

Oh look, its a rebadged tiguan.

it's shit but why didn't they name it just Kodiak? Sounds so much fucking better than Kodiaq

They actually named it after a town named Kodiak in Alaska but then the town changed the name's last letter to 'q'. So Skoda put the new SUV's name "Kodiaq".

It's a unikue word. Google "kodiak" and you'll just get bears.

>unikue
K is pretty damn far from Q how did you pull that off

Just like Skoda

That is pretty stupid.

It'll sell well in Europe and other Asian countries considering it's a 7 seater people carrier.

*a stretched rebadged tiguan.

Shit. Crossovers only for cunts. Octavia combi RS better or octavia scout for """"""OFFROAD"""""""

nice golf

>skoda

intothetrash

Needs RS version with 320hp or so. Those engine options are a disgrace for such a pigfat car.

shit like any other suv

What, no we didnt. Its still kodiak.

>taking peoplehaulers offroad
Do you see pickup general posting lap times?

Their website says it did.

>skoda-auto.com/en/models/kodiaq

I am more of a Superb guy, but the more it will sell, the higher is chance that we will actually finally get a Tudor.

That was part of the commercial campaign, actually.

Get ready to see it as cops and paramedics all across the Europe.

it'll do its job well, for sure. skoda really got their shit together lately seeing those high selling rates. is it good? for A2B transporting - most likely yes. great offroading? no idea, im not an Veeky Forums guy, but i dont think it will be capable of extreme offroading. lets just hope it will go through mud and piles of snow. i dont even know the difference between skoda/audi/seat anymore. they even look very similar

>Offered in 3 trim Levels - Active, Ambition and Style
who even comes up with these names

if they are not jews (but they are lmao) they can fill up a vehicle with needed equipment according to names. active - more sporty? (bucket seats etc.), ambition - just something practical, lets say bumpers are all non-colored and hardened/more durable. style - everything thats beautiful and not neccessary practical. but it wont happen, as usual

>literally a rebadged VW Tiguan/Audi Q7, etc etc
VAG is garbage

Oh look, it's a Touareg for a few grand cheaper.

Touareg*

>120 hp on a 5000 lbs vehicle
Europoors, ladies and gentlemen...

muh CO2

>captcha was "select all street signs" and only had an American flag

What makes you think it's 5000 lbs? Because all your Burbanlade shitbuckets are?

It's basically a Touareg, and that's 2 people short of 5000 lbs.

that's what a Touareg weighs. This "new" SUV is literally a Touareg with different lights and interior from the VAG parts bin.

Joke's on you, it's announced at 3200 to 3400 lbs.

autoexpress.co.uk/skoda/kodiaq/88859/new-skoda-kodiaq-prices-specs-and-video

just imagine that eurocuckbox trying to move 6173 lbs with 120 hp.
pathetic.

And 147 lb ft at that. Seriously, can these things even get moving, let alone move up a hill?

it will be a cheaper VW like all skodas.

active should mean it can carry surfboards and shit.

at least they didn't use "sport" which is the most overused name for a trim level. my current car is a sport and my last one was also a sport

Except that the Touareg has engines with up to 380 hp and up to 590 lbft.

Also Americans notoriously overrate the power needed to accomplish a task. Trabants reach 60 mph with 25 hp, meanwhile you fat fucks want to tow a jetski and you go all pic related.

we're talking about the Kodiaq, which is a Touareg but with a 1.4l engine.

I've already corrected you on that statement because the Kodiaq isn't a reskinned Touareg. It's shorter, it's narrower, it's 1400 lbs lighter.

>5 l / 100 km
And you expect me to believe that?

even if its 3200 lbs its underpowered as fuck.

My DD is 2500 lbs / 150 hp and feels very lacking in power.

Why tf would I want this car in manual?

It's a base model yurocuck soccermom SUV, of course it's gonna be massively underpowered. Can't have too high a CO2 output or you won't hit that lowest tax bracket, and can't use too much fuel because LOL 6 bucks a gallon!
