>tfw didn't buy the ecoboost
>tfw 17mpg
Tfw didn't buy the ecoboost
>bought Ecoboost
>39MPG average
Or 32MPG if you use US units. Happy either way.
Shill as fuck
>a hybrid ecoboost f150 is coming in 2020
don't toy with my emotions ford
This better be true
Those are the same Fucking units you widow licking mouth breathing retard.
Asshurt V8 cuckolds spotted
Enjoy stopping every 100 miles for fuel
OP here. I got the uuge 36 gallon tank so my range is quite far. Mpgs be damned, I don't want my motor to double explode at 100k when the turbos inevitably fail. Lol at all the ecoboost fags on the Ford forums going on about how their turbos are somehow invincible.
Funny, 99% of people who buy ecoboost don't have problems. Keep cherry picking because your V8s are outdated garbage
If there was a 1% chance (it's actually much higher than that) that the turbos would fail and Fuck the whole motor, I don't want to go near it.
ok
V8 master race. A little generous with that 17mpg
>Caring about MPGs
numale detected
>Batteries on a truck
Why? It'll only reduce payload.
British gallons aren't US gallons iirc.
MPG and torque, retard.
>muh mpg
>calls others retarded
LOL
k, stay triggered. V8 cuck
Only one triggered is you. My truck has a 50 gallon cell
MPG is a reasonably insignificant running cost (especially with it's diminishing returns) compared to driver cost and maintenance, if you're actually doing work with the truck. A hybrid truck is only good for consumers who barely use it to it's full potential (which granted, is a big part of the market).
Do you really need torque on those modern turbodiesel truck engines?
>do we really need more torque
Yes, you fucking retard. It's a truck
Try towing a full size boat and trailer with a 4 cylinder Ford Ranger or 4 cylinder Nissan Frontier and then tell me torque isn't needed
I don't know what the fuck kind of stump you're pulling, but if 800+ft-lbs doesn't pull it, you probably need to reevaluate the decision to pull it.
>Modern turbodiesel
Pulling a boat with a small Ute is a stupid idea. That's what HD trucks are practically made for.
>HONDA GROM
>150mpg
>MPG
What's that ? loos like a prehistoric measurement or something.
Yeah, Tesla uses body counts.
Only poor people get anything less than a GT premium.
Bump
Ford advertises their EcoBoost engine as having 17mpg... which is weird...
... have any of these engines actually made it 17 miles?
>got the ecoboost
>20 mpg because hitting boost errday
>bought 5.0 V8 F-150
>21 mpg highway
Can't complain 2bh
Bumo
Ecoboost kicked in
Srsly was it that hard to fortify the internals and not use a cast block?
