Let's use the power of collective thinking to find each other cars based on a few criteria.
List:
1. What type of car you would like, be as specific or as vague as you want.
2. What your price range is
3. Your craigslist area (SFBay for example if you live in SF)
4. Why you want the car, and what you would like to do with it.
Example (mine):
1. Something light and fun, preferably a manual RWD with 4 or 5 seats.
2. $5000~ max
3. Goldcountry (CA,USA)
4. I'm really into taking off for long drives when boredom sets in. I'd like something that I can just pick a road and drive down, and possibly take on longer road trips with friends in the future.
I understand that the sticky has most of the information that someone could want, but it should be /fun/ to see what people suggest.

And here's mine: >Maximum power potential, not FWD >$2500 >SF Bay or Sac or immediately surrounding areas >Stoplight racing against 600+ hp lifted diesel brodozers.
Ryan Scott
>fastback >rwd >I4 >2.0L or less displacement >200hp or more >japanese Not even gonna bother posting my CL Good luck
Jaxon Cox
I don't think that car exists in the US, user. FR-S is the closest, but it's only 196 horsepower or some shit.
Why does it have to be 2.0L? Starion would fit the bill otherwise. Or a DSM if it can be AWD. Although come to think of it, I'm sure there's an SR20DET swapped S13 hatch for sale on Craigslist somewhere.
Charles Brooks
>Let's use the power of collective thinking But isn't collective thinking merely the sum of all the individual's thoughts?
Nicholas Cooper
Sorry mitsubishi and nissan are absolute trash. Especially starion and 240sx
Spend the other half of your budget making it how you want it.
Thomas Lewis
That's the point you nonce. We all put our opinions out there and collaborate by responding and reacting based on our own thoughts.
Matthew Jackson
How about an A70 Supra or RX7 TII, then? They're not I4s and the 7M is a 3.0L, but they fit the bill apart from that. And the MR2 turbo is perfect except for the notch.
James Sullivan
You near Grass Valley OP? Was just looking at houses up there a few weeks ago. You aren't going to fulfill your requirements with anything that isn't already broken or on the verge, this is all I could find sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/5763400605.html
Angel Bailey
>99 horsepower
>Same power as the 4 cylinder
Are you guys even trying?
Grayson Collins
>bored out >bbk headers >same hp as 4 cylinder lolno I'm sure it's already around 200hp at least, assuming it has only what is listed but it probably has more done to it and user will have $1200 left in his budget to put into it.
Dylan Edwards
1. turbo, manual, not FWD, ideally not I4 because they sound boring 2. 90000yen/$9k max 3. Japan 4. daily driver, weekend touge warrior
I have a car already, but I'm curious what Veeky Forums would suggest.
Noah Sanders
You're not in Japan, Faggot.
Aaron Brooks
I actually am. But even if you don't believe me, you can still play along.
Jacob Lee
Also that should have been >900000yen
Luke Martinez
Fuck off
Joseph Barnes

RX& is unreliable shit also. Basically only the Toyotas are good.
Lucas Wood
How hard is it to import cars the wrong direction?
Why did you ask for a Japanese car if all you wanted was a Toyota?
Isaiah Stewart

Ryan Gonzalez

Matthew James
I need an automatic car. As much as it pains me, I'll probably need to settle for FWD. If there's a good RWD car, go ahead and suggest it anyway. Can be a sedan, coupe, hatch, wagon, or small SUV. I do require it to be reliable, as I'll be DDing this for the next few years in all manner of Kansas weather. I'd also like it if it weren't gutless. Something that won't have an asthma attack if I press down on the accelerator.
My absolute maximum is $2500. I live in the Topeka metro area, but I'll be willing to hitch a ride to SURROUNDING towns if necessary.
This is going to be my first car. I'll mainly be driving it to work and university. Not expecting fun, I can't afford fun at this time. I just need it to hold together till Car 2 comes along.
Thanks in advance to anyone who submits a suggestion.
