Favorite exotic and why?

I've owned an F430, and Gallardo, and driven a McLaren 12C, SLS AMG and Huracan. Of these, I would take my F430 any day for the disgusting, raw performance.

Is this really yours, user?

>Favorite exotic and why?
I've always had a thing for the M1. God-tier BMW turbo straight six jammed in the back that makes batshit power and that outrageous wedge look.

Yeah I've got a couple exotics. Fun toys.

I love the M1. For its generation, it was such an incredible car. Very rare collectors items these days.

you know the rules

bread on bonnet or we don't believe you

This or the F40, but this is more realistically achievable

I'm not really sure.
I mean I like many of them and what they can offer, but I haven't driven any and have no desire to own one as the maintenance on them seems annoying and expensive.
>Inb4 If you cant afford the maintenance, you can't afford one

I worked at exoticsracing and I can name 6 cars that shit all over the F430.
>F440 scuderia
>F458
>Aventador
>Porsche GT3
>>Mercedes SLS
>GT-R (sadly this bloated sedan outperforms many cars on the track)

>Favorite exotic and why?
Carrera GT, hands down. That glorious V10 wail is all the reason I need.

>shit all over
>outperformed
If you're actually considering one of these cars burgerking lap times aren't going to be your only consideration.

I really like the GT40 and the 2006 Ford GT.

I don't really know how exotic these are however...

BREAD OR APPLE PIE ON HOOD

What does Ferrari do if the car is blue?
Red valve cover on a blue car would look like ass, but I've never seen a Ferrari engine painted any color other than red.

There was only about 112 gt40's built, that's total of all the variants- mark I, II , III, IV etc
That includes beta test chassis, factory race cars, privateer race cars, the "street legal" releases.
Many were destroyed during racing, most of those were recycled as spare parts.

Chassis #P1074 sold for $11,000,000 in 2012 in monterey, ca. It had won quite a few races, and was even modified for use as a camera car for the movie "LeMans" because McQueen wanted to film at speed.
Chassis P#1075 is the car that won LeMans in '68 AND '69 (different sponsor color schemes each year). It was owned by Sam Walton, guy that started same club and Walmart and it sat in his garage next to another gt40. Its currently on display at the Ford museum in Detroit- but nobody is saying who the current owner is.

Some of the engines that were used in them were as exotic as american manufacturers have ever produced.

#P1076 ran one race, took first place and retired undefeated.

Wasn't 1076, can't remember which one it was but looked up 76 and I was wrong.

>F430
Drove one, wasn't hugely impressed. I could build a car from the ground up for $50k or less that matches or exceeds it in every performance and comfort metric.

Washington plates? You should come to washington Veeky Forums meets.

Not a fan of Ferrari really. I'd want a 2nd or latest gen Viper, for a real exotic I'd still want something manual.

...

>I know it's a little outside of Veeky Forums's typical...
You say that like it's a bad thing.

I've always had a thing for V12's and wagons. Your typical exotic to me is kind of meh, with the exception of the SL65AMG's on the lower end of the exotic tier.

A place I used to work did a car show every year in one of the studio garages. Always a good time, and the first time I saw a M1 in person.

Good times.

>engine under the front hood of a ferrari
fuck the color, thats all that bothers me.

How does this make you feel?

>God tier regenerative hybrid system
>4WS
>Sexy AF
no other car will ever be this good

like it should be in the middle of the car

He doesn't know about the proper Ferraris

Oh dear, I forgot my meme arrows.

Have you ever thought of getting a proper car? Or is drawing childrens attention more appealing to you?

>F430
>Not a proper car

The F355 was the first car I ever put no my wall when I was a little chillun
To this day I still love it

m8

I dunno, I've spent too much time on Veeky Forums and I've been brainwashed into thinking that liking supercars makes you a normie and being a normie is bad and japanese shitboxes are the only good cars.

This is sex on wheels though

It's little more than a tuned Volvo landbarge engine strapped to a steel spaceframe chassis and will gladly kill you if you're a poor driver, but it still shits on anything this side of a 918 and I love it.

a ferrari so proper they turned it MR just to give it any sort of chance at competition

How many miles did you put on it before you sold it?

Less "favorite" and more "one I'd most like to own"

GT1 specials in general are just undiluted automotive porn

Would marry.

Reminds me of a DeLorean

>doesn't know it won le mans
