Even stealth C? I hate that piece of shit, seems to take hits to weapons every time. It's fun for shieldless if you get a defense 2 and a drone recovery arm though.

Hard but fun. Dont forget about Stealth B. It was a disaster fighting ships with drones. But once you get the proper augments like autoloader and pre-igniters, you can cheese the entire game

Stealth B and Zoltan A through C are my shipfus though. Sure, Bravais and Shrike are objectively superior, but getting a pre igniter in sector 1 or 2 in the stealth B is probably the most fun it's possible to have in FTL.

Hacking and beams are my favorite offense

Stealth B is overpowered if people think about it. Its glaive beam is just OP in all sectors. Just imagine with a pre-igniter

Thats why flak exists. Its meant to break shields but also a powerful weapon at the same time

Quad flak with triple autoloader is the best gunship in the game imo.

VGL 7 signups are already open and /aceg/ will once again participate. Expect some new aesthetics (such as the brand new Stealth Helmets™, pic related) and a whole new home stadium! So far the only thing planned is the pitch (that Stonehenge ground I posted a few weeks ago) but I'll look into it to see what else can be done. We also need to name it, so I'd like to hear some suggestions (Stonehenge Arena?). Other than that, expect news soon, with the draw on Nov. 28th.

As for the previous Cup, the Autumn Babby Cup draw happened yesterday and Veeky Forums will debut on its rough group next week, oct. 28th around 4:30 pm EST. This will be your chance to see our representative 30 Tickets defending the board against /sp/, Veeky Forums and Veeky Forums.

Yeah I think the sparks are a bit over exaggerated right now. I'll probably tone it down once I've got the debris going.

Another thought, but what if planes exploded in different ways to add variety? Sometimes maybe they explode in a giant huge fireball. Maybe other times they have a small explosion but the wreck just spins on fire and eventually explodes again later. Stuff like that.
