Wyverns are a joke. I went to farm crused dragons in Duskmoon tower and a wyvern was there. All I had to do was jump on its back once and it was dead a minute later.

Yeah I get that but normally with the tougher enemies the hard part is finding the intervals to put that damage out.
Fire drakes for example are harder to approach because they love spitting fire and once you are one their chest they often grab you pretty quickly or otherwise shake you off. Cursed dragons too have a few moves for getting you off their chest.
The Wyvern on the other hand seemed to be oblivious to the fact I was on its back wailing away at its heart.

What? It's pretty straightforward user. The place that has the second shorcut back to the start of Bitterblack Isle also has the door leading to the next area, the Rotwood Depository.
The epitahs are just massive xp boosts when you go back to the start and read the ones you have unlocked, they don't tie down your progression.

I didn't realise how absurd BBI gear is until using them on non BBI content. I didn't even do anything in the fight against Savan and his pawn, my pawn just one shot both of them.

DD2 wishes?

I want warrior to be able to use maces, and for blunt and bladed weapons to have different physical contact sounds / animations - maybe even put those in separate categories. I wish blunt weapons were more satisfying to use, with borderline sickening contact sounds.

A crossbow option for Assassin, and more unarmed options that can be used when playing any class, like being able to weapon enchant your fists as well as having new attacks.

Some kind of class which allows for use of both staff and sword, Summoner maybe?

Skyrim has mods.Dragons Dogma doesnt.
If skyrim didnt have mods no one would play it anymore.

What I have always wanted a mod to do which I don't think has been done for this game.

Have the enemies scale with your level.
My biggest problem with this game is how incredibly easy it is. You can't even go through a second play through without one shotting everything.
Also some more towns would be nice.

What is wrong with people? My pawn has one gold dragon forged weapon and one silver. Two silver torso pieces and then gold everything else.

Complete rehaul of the damage reduction/armor system. The flat reduction that everyone gets is just silly. Make it % based instead, or have both.

Making it an RPG would also be nice.

Allow any class to use any kind of armor or weapon, but apply bonuses or penalties depending on the class (increased cast time for mages for heavy armor). Make heavy armor very resistant against magic but slow the fuck out of the character unless they pass a strength requirement.

More cosmetic shit. Dragon's Dressup is fun.

More mobility. Think flicker strike from path of exile, shit like that.

A less clunkier version of weapon sets from dinput.dll hooks. It's very frustrating that you can only use three skills at a time with a weapon which just makes you use the most effective ones all the time and ignore the situational ones.

Summons would be nice. I was disappointed at how Necromancy doesn't summon actual skeletons.

I find it silly how the shortbow sniping skill does more damage at long distances compared to the longbow one. If only I knew where the fuck the skills are in the xml and how to edit the damage formulas.

Not really. You can minmax your stats, but it's unnecessary at best.

Some quests expire if you progress too far into the main story.
Early on, go look for your friend instead of running off in a random direction.

-Don't worry about min-maxing and builds (only gear really matters).
-If a npc warns you about something, listen to him...
-Post your pawn whenever you need.

Early on when you're told your friend is missing stop progressing the main quests and go find her first, or you'll be locked out of some good shit later on.
Otherwise just have fun. Some quests that you can get early on may be too hard to do right away, if the very early game is boring you try to get to the main city, things get a lot better when you can change to whichever class you like.

You can't fuck up your "build" DDDA is pretty tame in that aspect since, most of the power comes from the gear.
About the items ? not really, there's a small amount that's only available in certain locations, but you can easily re-visit them once you either go NG+ or Hard mode.
Just play the game, don't worry about those things.

Holy cow, trying to come back to your old character after not playing the game for months is a hassle.
