Toyota Celica ST184R - Aged like wine

Everytime i see these i still cant believe they are an early 90's car, they still look great on the road, talk about ahead of their time car design.

Awful car.
Just bland soulless slow junk.

I just see a fwd shitbox

they look like a product of the time no doubt
they aged like milk

bland boring (kinda ugly) to look at milk

>ahead of their time
>incredibly curvy design, round headlights
?????
>2010's
>everything hard edges, sharp lines, sloped headlights

you dont even make any sense, youre fucking jerking off a celica like it was put here by god, its just a Toyota from the 90s

shit taste m8

Old milk becomes cheese though.

Only good 90s Toyotas are the MR2 and Corolla
Probably some others that were never out in the USA

Did someone throw that guy from the side with the open door clear through the window on the other side because his car was so gay?

and old milk gives you food poisoning and ends up looking disgusting

much like most 90s Toyotas

>You really need to have your eyes checked m8. You can't make more early 90's design in all its melted shit glory.

Just because you like a cars design, doesn't make it ahead of its time.
I admit it, I like 80's and 90's car design.
I don't think that the good looking cars from then were "ahead of their time". It was just good design. It has no expiration date.

Im with you

yeah well youre wrong

Subjective matter my friend

This thread is just butt hurt Americans, mad because the only celicas readily available are fwd shitboxes.

>posts two American gt-fours
okay

>he thinks the ST205 was sold in the US

>americans on an american website don't like the american version of the car they got
Yeah....

>moving the goalposts
you said they aren't readily available and posted evidence showing otherwise, all in the same post.

That generation Celica looks fucking disgusting when compared to the one that came before and the one that came after

>the only good ones are the ones I like. I am authority on the matter. After all, I am a certified benchracer.

>he thinks GT fours are LHD
>burgers want st205s so bad, they weld on GT four floor pans and convert St204s

>ford probe body
>ahead of it's time
You have a horrible eye for design

>shits all over a probe

for a 'runaround' car, it was supreme. people are forgetting how mediocre the competition was in that era.

How does two examples make them readily available.
I can guarantee, the guys that own those went to great lengths to obtain them.

You are so fucking retarded it's unbelievable.
He's talking about the fucking design, which was, is, and will be shitty.
Even the MX-6, which actually has the same engine, looks way, way better than a Probe

anything looks better than a probe, it was Ford trying to compete with the japanese market

That's what I'm saying.
Probe is just junk when it comes to design

>talking about looks
>muhhh reliability
The reading comprehension on Veeky Forums has been astounding for going on 10 years.

Probe was better than any Celica short of a GT-4 tho

definitely better than the shitty Corolla you posted

Yeah they do look very good. I don't see many anymore though.

>looks remarkably like the celica in OP
>OP claims it's ahead of its time in looks
Thanks for confirming.

Weird, I see hardly any similarities in the design besides the flip ups.
Please point out the ones you see.

I don't dig the looks at all. I think even bug-eyes looks better (but only the GT-4, FWD one looks like a shapeless blob).

This is one of the saltiest threads I've ever seen. The ST185 looks fantastic, and I'm tired of Veeky Forums just being a cesspit of contrarians for the sake of seeming more sophisticated. All you have to do is shit on other people's opinion.

Go ahead, call me a faggot. It's all you know how to do around here.

all the retards ITT

I can exactly believe it's an early 90's car because there is nothing else it could be. Possibly a mid to late 90s car, if I was an idiot.

Ahead of time it was not, but it was right on time and also timeless.

stop reminding me that we don't have the st205 gt4 over here. :(((((((((

I like them, but the Integra's still a better car, without needing a turbo or AWD.

Here we go again.
