I am fond of pigs

I am fond of barefooted riflemen

I am fond of my wifes son
t. Coal Miner

I am fond of Gorgo

bolt actions speak louder than pigs

think they can get wifi on the kilimanjaro?

Anyone here play Civ like they're NTR? I setup a game with only 3 civs: myself, Gilgamesh, and Cleo. I build up my capital a little bit and then setup an auto-hotkey script to click next turn endlessly. I then leave my room and sit outside it for a few hours while the game plays. If I come back into the room and the game is still going I mumble a few apologies and excuse myself again. I've thought about knocking on the door before I enter but I don't want the noise to potentially disturb them. A few times my mom has asked why I sit outside the door of my room and I tell her each time "It's my new meta" (she has no idea what that means).

Is there a way to help with the constant desyncs in civ 6?

I am fond of Cleo!

No man ever wetted pigs and then left it, as if there would be tiger traps by chance and fortune.

So apparently buying an armada/army of units then selling them can turn a profit.

Anyone confirm?

AI would be terrifying if they actually used nukes

So when are you guys signing up?

Any place to get mods for 1.3 stellaris that is not steam?

Top fucking kek.

There's also supposedly an exploit where if you chop rush something that's eligible for a production boost (like the +100% production to whatever era naval units policy) the production overflow gets boosted not once but twice. Some guy on CivFanatics said he built a spaceport in 1 turn with that gem.

I swear science victory is fucking impossible in this game. The projects take 5 god damned years to finish, I literally always lose to religious faggots after I've been building a Mars rover or some shit since 1570.

Peace lasted 1 year before they decided to sneak attack.

Anyone know if GP's can be killed or captured in Civ 6?

Great scientists my friend

SEND HELP

what did he mean by this
i get every great scientist in the game
and usually get the 20% space project great engi

>VGL logo
iirc user who made the flag didn't create it for the VGL, I remember him asking feedback about his flag in here.

I only faintly remember it though, maybe it was for the vgl.

>tfw turned off all other victory options so I could get it for the achievement, and never again

i just finished a deity game with science victory and the only production boost i had was 20% from an engineer and the 15% policy card.

You just gotta stack industrial zones a bit. A spaceport took me 20 turns to build and the projects took between 10 to 20 turns.

just use your scout to counter theirs , garrison the slinger and kill them as they come

From the old thread. (About Civ 6 ui formatting)

Does anyone else have a problem with the formatting of the Interface? The list of reasons why the leader is friendly/unfriendly is tiny and i have to scroll A LOT to get to the end. I really only can see one or two lines at the same time. Anyone knows how to fix this?

Someone pls help, this is driving me crazy.

pls

When the game recommend me to create my city where there is a luxury ressource should I do it? Will I have it anyway or will it disappear?

She has kind of that strong MILF Sex appeal. Like the mom from Malcom in the Middle.

so how do you play your games lads? I've only dipped my toes so I can't form any concrete strat.

The game's housing limitation feels like you can't go high or am I just misusing it? Also, how do you manage districts? Do you specialize cities or as much as possible? Since you can't really just build farms otherwise not enough housing.

And what happens when happine- amenities go too low in a city? Do your subjects chimp out?

Anyone here know where I can find the non-changing music for each civ? The stuff that doesn't change throughout the eras, I think it only plays on diplomacy screens.

How do you guys seige information age cities, their defenses are ridiculous.

Planes

It's funny, in one game i kept a siege tower around forever. It never stopped working. Mechanized infantry ignoring walls us retarded.

Maybe you should ask the birthday skeleton.
I take it nobody's updated skymods or whatever the russian one is?

What's the straight up ultimate mod packs for Civilization V these days? Would like to give V a one last play and take it to the most that will ever be made of it. Must be some total conversions by now with neat shit like random events and grand strategy style statecraft for late game right?

>playing Germany
>found Catholicism for my >HRE
>happen to meet Trajan
>conquer Rome for my H>RE
>but before I could get there he founded Hinduism
>meet Philip
>he greets me with a wave of missionaries
>for Protestantism
>now can't produce Catholic missionaries and even my holy city is now only pantheon
>my glorious true faith has been torn down by foreign heretics
NO THIS IS ALL WRONG

The flavor quote for Nanotech was from some 'author' in his 20's who is so unknown he doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. And it was some drivel like "hurr it makes good things gooder and bad things badder".

Is he fucking one of the devs or something? They could have used a Feynman quote like always room at the bottom or some line from The Diamond Age. Instead we get this loser. What gives?

I thought bombers can only drop nukes for the longest time.

just like the real germany

You'll get the resource, you just won't get the production/gold/food bonus you'd usually get for working the tile. Basically you should only do it if it's a really good spot.

Yeah I saw you post about that.

I've got about 5 siege towers that I'm holding in reserve

Nope, nothing like that. Also
>grand strat style statecraft
I lol'd. Feel free to give a concrete example of what you mean, this'll be good for a laugh.

But is she fond of you?

Has anyone played Endless Space? How is it?

I was browsing for mods for a similar reason recently and saw some mod that was supposed to have that, but I didn't bother

forums.civfanatics.com/threads/sukritacts-events-and-decisions.528549/

No idea if it's any good

Ra be praised.

1 or 2?

Haven't played 2 yet, 1 is kind of neat at first but it gets pretty boring. I did play it when it was new, maybe it got better with patches and DLC/mods, I don't know.

Shitter here, whats the difference between Online game speed and Quick game speed

2x

Some amount of speed

encampments are the best feature in this game imo

just having another city-like bombardment that i can place on the enemy's border is comfy as fuck

Why don't spies have their own district? It feels like they were added to the game in the last minute or something

Why can't I leave a defensive spy unattended? Why the fuck would I ever need to refresh them?

>Why don't secret agents have their own section of the city?
Think about that one user

>this is India's late game capital on emperor
>all those unimproved tiles
nice game lads

>tfw playing as Greece and there's a mountain range protecting half of your empire, and there's a single tile gap in the mountains where you place an encampment

>or as much as possible
or place as much as possible*

Probably put it a dumb way sure. I meant something that builds onto the ideas of borders, diplomacy, wars for defined and limited purposes. Civ V always felt like it degenerated to pressing next turn until the screen for your chosen kind of victory pops up where in reality the latter stages should be the most intricate mechanically but it never really gets past what is basically feudal kingdoms quarreling with each other for profit, just with modern unit skins.

Legend of Opala mod when?

Didn't even know there was a sequel. I want to play a space game, and everyone says Stellaris has pretty bad AI... and the graphics of SMAC really bother me.

Can someone explain to me how I'm leading in science if I've built exactly 0 campus?

Those games fucking sucked

The vast amounts of porn are great though.

Endless Space was Amplitude's first real attempt at 4X and it shows. Endless Legend was a vast improvement but with a fantasy setting, and ES2 is a further refinement, but is only in Early Access.

Anyone know where I can pirate the Leviathans dlc?

>pic unrelated

The sequel is currently in early access. People are generally positive but I haven't really read much about it (though the 4x game they did in the meantime, Endless Legend, is pretty good, so they're probably learning)

Stellaris is okay for a while, but it gets boring. I enjoyed the hours I put into it, but it's been a while and I have absolutely no will to try it, even after patches and DLC.

WHY DO SIEGE TOWERS NEVER STOP WORKING

AM I ROLLING UP MY 4000 YEAR OLD WOODEN TOWER SO MY TANKS CAN DO SICK RAMP OFFS INTO THE CITY LIMITS?
WHY ARE MY MARINES TRAINED IN THE OPERATION OF A CAPPED RAM

FIRAXIS PLEASE

so that the horsemen and warrior hordes the AI never evolves past can remain relevant too :^)

Housing becomes a non-issue as soon as you get Neighbourhoods. Then, amenity (and eventually food) will stop your growth.
And yes, if amenity gets too low, a bunch of angry barbs will spawn all around your city.

Honestly, I still haven't worked out a single strategy either. I'm trying to shit out 2-3 settlers as fast as possible in the early game and then focus on building up those cities, but that's about it.

I like the reasoning behind builder charges, but it does lead to this problem.

In my Rome game on Deity when I was approaching victory I noticed I still had an unimproved Rainforest tile adjacent to Rome's city center. Builders simply fall by the wayside a bit when you're trying to get other shit online first.

>Great General points which can translate into free units on the go
>Production bonus from buildings
>Extra set of walls

Encampments are great

I mean my industrial zones had everything including power plants and wasn't fast enough.

dont forget early housing. Super important

There's a Great Scientist which doubles Space Race production.

She is the perfect woman in my game now.

Turn n+1
>Oh you're so strong
Turn n+2
I am afraid of your armies [since we border each other]
Turn n+3
Your army is weak
Turn n+4
You have such a strong army

>a barbarian unit on turn 0 on literal spawning screen before any moves

noice

I haven't gotten too much into it but my early strategy is slowly starting to revolve around getting an encampment and a small force of Archers, then just spewing settlers as much as I can whilst rolling barbarians.

Depending on the map it can be worth it to just knock over City States with them too

>And yes, if amenity gets too low
How low is too low? -2? -4?

My early game strategy is quickly becoming going all in military and busting some fucking heads while warmonger penalties are non-existant. Maybe steal a city, a settler if you're lucky, raze everything in sight for free gold/sci/faith, etc. Then sue for peace and rake in tons of cash from the AI, and use it to quickly shit out a bunch of settlers and buy/build whatever infrastructure you can. Tada, instant empire.

then you didnt place them in a way to maximize their aoe effect. The later industrial zone buildings apply their production to every city within 6 tiles.

A city being affected by one industrial zone full of buildings is going to be MUCH slower than a city being affected by 4 zones.

Who's your favorite civ so far.

Monty is great. Trajan with Great Zimbabwe is insane.

Going for Japan now, how should I play it?

China is my favorite civ, but Cleopatra is my favorite waifu. Trajan has probably been the biggest cunt in my games so far which is weird because Rome is usually bro-tier in Civilization.

Freddy is OP once you get factories on your Hansas

I'm really enjoying Russia.

Tundra seems to be everywhere, so the production is crazy. The extra landgrab means I get to fuck over my neighbors with forward settling.

Japan's probably best for a culture victory, that was the first game I won. Here's what I wanted to do:
>Get a religion with the belief that lets you buy science/culture buildings with faith
>Get a fuckton of faith generation
>Settle as many cities as possible, don't bother looking for good spots
>Build a holy site and culture district in each one - Japan builds them twice as fast so bad production isn't much of a problem
>Cluster them all together to take advantage of Japan's extra adjacency bonus

How many would you build?

>Freddy is OP once you get factories on your Hansas
How do you mean? Did I miss something? I thought Hansa gives only a bit more bonus to the zone.

I'm thinking just two and then exploring and settling all over the world.

would settling on the two food grasslands in the middle of all the rice count as settling near a river? Or do you have to be next to a river rather at the source of it

Where the fuck is temple ?
i want to build Watt and it said require temple. i dont see it in tech tree
