It's a render, we don't know what it'll look like. Just that it has no hope of eclipsing this:

There is at least a 50% chance the RX9 will be hybrid to meet emissions standards.

If it's automatic (and there's a big chance they'll offer an autobox to compete in the upper sportscar segment), it'll be a conventional automatic, but with a torque converter and clutch combo, a la Skyactiv-Drive.
