To talk about Dragon's Dogma.

I don't get it. Dark souls 1 has virtually no multiplayer anymore but lots of people still play it

It's still the best souls game other than maybe Bloodborne. Bloodborne would be my favourite souls game if not for the fact I had to use the fucking PS4 instead of my PC.

Hey guys, I absolutely loved Dragon's Dogma on PS3 and finally have enough free time to play it on PC.

My Question is does PC have enough players to make it worth it? Or will I be cornholed into never using anything but my own pawn?

It has players but nobody hires random pawns from the rift anymore and if they do its extremely rare.
It used to be common on the first days of PC release but then people just marked their favorite pawns and stop getting random ones.

Lots of people been adding me to their steam lists lately and I don't think they're from here. I'd say there's a fair population if your pawn stands out.

Its not that pawns are bad, its the fact that its really hard to look up pawns and search the rift on PC, some of them dont show up and the search by ID option was removed so you have to keep sending them away for new ones to show up.

I'm still a scrub at this game, do sorceror spells ever get overpowered as shit? Just defeated the ogre at the water god altar and the fight basically consisted of me immediately sniping his club and tusk with fireballs and then just spamming levine over and over for a bit of damage

Alrighty. Another thing: Does lantern management ever actually matter? The game keeps telling me about the darkness and so on but I can usually either get by without it in dark caves or use one of my million oil flasks to refill it

If you followed the instructions when you first launched the game and adjusted the brightness you shouldn't be able to see shit without a lanterm.

Well, not really. The upper levels of BBI at levels 40-70 are manageable.
Just run if you get a random Ogre/Gram.

Now she's just lying there, how do I revive her?

Use a Wakestone if you have one. If you don't have one, she will respawn in a week or so.
I don't know if you can retry the quest, though.
You can drop a Portcrystal in the objective area and teleport there after you take an escort quest to complete it safer and faster.

My main pawn is a fighter, how do I know which skills I should get for him? I haven't tried out fighter myself yet so I don't know what's good.

If anything, it's nice to give the knowledge to pawns that don't have it. Though that might mean the pawn's arisen is dead.

The dragons at the Watergod's Altar and Conqueror's Sanctuary have unique voices too
