Just picked her up lads, what do you think?
I'll play your game.

Is that a glass roof? Looks sexy, what engine?
The 16v 75HP, the chassis rattles a bit at lower speeds so I might have to replace the suspension or brushings or something like that, but looks and runs great otherwise. Probably going to wash it on the weekend and try to change the fluids.
I think I might know what the problem is. What's the name of this part in English? This is what I had to replace to fix chassis rattle.
glass roof is best roof
I love the color. I hope you keep posting in the coming twingo threads

I cried a little
If you have any soul you'd keep it and repair it
a few days after dodek discovered his twingo with that tiny dent a hobo literally shat into it and also apparently lived in it from then on.
Posting a literally mint Twingo
also has a 2.0 clio sport engine in it (with 160 or 180hp if I remember correctly)
F
nice trips btw
Pretty sure that one has the 172 engine.
Twungi threads are always great to relax after work
Fully sikk
Is that the CLK GTR that flipped on a race?
Nah, it was a GT-R that flipped, the CLK was on a straight not a turn
It's fucking impossible to find one that has both glass roof and 75 hp where I live.
Patience, the one will come eventually.
Or just 16v swap a regular 8v with glass roof.
Or if you're gonna swap it anyway, 1.4T swap or 172 swap.

It's not very common around these parts either, but I managed to get lucky and found one that had just been brought in from Austria and had yet to be fluffed up by the used car people. It might help if you filter results by searching for the initiale verson, because I'm pretty sure those all have 16v engines.
Are swaps common? Since its not carbed would you need to write custom code for your ECU? I was thinking about maybe swapping out for something with a bit more pull maybe 5 or 6 years down the line when this engine starts to give
>when this engine starts to give
good luck with that.
you could expect something .. of that sort.. around 400k km.
of course when you don't maintain it, you could have that in a year.
The D4F (1.2 16v) engine is used to this day. My uncle bought a brand new Dacia Logan MCV with this exact engine. It seems that it's a pretty good engine.
As others have said, you probably won't need to swap anything anytime soon, but people do it from time to time because they're very light cars. Even the slightest power increase will make it feel a lot faster.
still looking for that twingo dealership promotional video with the wacky ass music and the french chick going "merci twingo" and shit
...
...
those should be twingo plushies
there is, a guy on this board makes them
no I mean he should airdrop them over france
Fuckin great video. No link though sorry
...
sorry, tired as shit and misread "those" as "there"
Thing is she's already got 170k kilometers in her, and while I do expect it to last a long time with the right care, there's probably going to come a time when the repairs start becoming more frequent and at that point I'll drop in a new engine. I just don't want to any time soon since she runs great and it would be a waste to just toss out the old one. That and I'm hoping I'll be a more competent driver in a few years so I won't accidentally kill myself or the car with the increase in power.

this one?
>Thing is she's already got 170k kilometers in her
20 y.o. 250k km twingo hier (8v though). It's fucking mint. Only oil changes through almost 5 years since I got it.
>Veeky Forumss monthly traffic stats
Holy fucking shit!
This big guy is sitting on closed canvas roof!
That stuff is BUILT TOUGH!
It's such a simple engine, there's not much to go wrong. They regularly hit 250k+ km.
das fucking it mane
>tfw you design a product and in the end it looks like you

That video is nothing without the twingo engine noise tho.
to be perfectly HONest though, that Twingo has a R5 1.4l turbo swapped in.
SHRED TILL IM DED
that twingo reminds me of mid-sized dogs that you hear the first time bark and the barking is WAY LOWER than you expected from a dog with that body
literally hon-ing (or growl-honing) at 1:38
I'd seriously wouldn't mind seeing more RWD mods.
Are there any well sold 4x4 Renau- ...
WAIT.
If Dacia uses a ton of old Renault parts and even the Twingo engines, wouldn't that mean that there's a possibility that you could install the 4x4 system of the Dacia Logan 4x4 and/or just only send power to the rear?
The gearbox might bolt up to the engine, but that's no guarantee that it'll fit in an actual Twingo. Not to mention you'd probably have to cut out the floor pan and fab up something to make room for the driveshaft, and figure out some way to mount the rear diff.
> modify exhaust to go out side in front
> use exhaust pipe space to sort of fit a drive shaft

Got a link of any kind to where I can buy one?
They're pretty adorable.
Second run is coming this Christmas.
I am pretty sure that it was a limited production thing
Got proof of this? I'll pre-order one if I can.
