That would free 2 slots on my palettes for more PAs but it's an additional button, I already have palette toggle at 'E' so I would probably put weapon action at 'R' or other way around.

Guess they figured the reason why some people aren't using the new control scheme is that it removes the dedicated button for weapon action.

They should've just kept it to shift and used ctrl for switching.

So, special ability factors. It seems as though the abilities themselves are tied to the weapon. For example, the Ray Sword has Spirita V innately, you can see this in the video before they select any fodder. D-A.I.S. Saber has Astral Soul. Some combination of the others have Power V, Stamina V, Spirita Alpha and Alter Arma. All of them are 100% transfer rate.

This might make farming beyond 5 sheets of your weapons of choice worthwhile, or even farming off-class weapons while your other sheets are on CD, just to be able to use them as fodder.

It also applies to all NT weapons, so I'm assuming IV-level abilities will be 12* NT, III would be 11*, II would be 10*, and I would be 9* and below. I don't think this will affect ability prices too much, except perhaps the Falz souls if Astral Soul is common enough, since getting +35 NT 13* is time consuming.

I really like the concept of the system though.

I think it's probably your best bet to do with 13* weapons, unless you know it's one you aren't going to use.

There's also a barrel roll maneuver which I'm sure is used to dodge attacks

I also see a bunch of blue streaks emanating from behind the player camera which might be a missile attack of some kind but I'm not sure if it's the boss or players that are doing it

The resists on Anga are retarded idea. Sega spent almost an entire year making sure that using your subclass weapons is worthless and then puts 3 resist slots on Anga, god forbids you actually hate one of your mainclass weapons.

I've seen it in organized MPAs before, people using Aus/Gix gunslash on FI during first phase to not get TD/Knuckle resist on phase 2.

In all seriousness I like the track, but it sounds way more at home in Sonic Colors than it does in Phantasy Star Online 2, especially with that guitar. It's not terribly out-of-left field considering there's been composer overlap going back even to the original PSO but it still feels a little odd.

Plus I'm honestly not sure this track will actually be anywhere near this quest, teasers have used different music before after all.
