U+ is tricky as he hits hard as fuck magically then throws in a U Chaos Bahamut strength AoE ranged fuck you physical at 50%. It will do 9999 if you have no Wall or Protectga up.

U++ spams a 25 second ST stop off 600 speed at 75% health. I haven't beaten it yet. Basically received U+ Caius level Hype and he is living up to the hype. Fuck this asshole.

He absorbs Dark and resists wind so my two best bets of SB spam are neutered (Cloud/Leon)

So is there any depth to the battle system in WoFF? I played the demo and it seemed pretty bare bones.

1) Are there any special animations for mirage attacks or is it all "use ability"=>"particle appears on animation. I mean even Chrono Trigger had the characters run up and hit the enemy.

2) What are the different "configurations for mirages? I never got enough AP to unlock one.

3) Can you ever get upskirts of Reynn?

Did someone on the WoFF dev team have some kind of grudge against boss battles? It seems like every other boss in WoFF ends the same way:
>Boss gets back up and reveals the whole fight was meaningless because they can't be killed
>Two more copies of the boss show up and can't be fought no matter how easy the first one was
>A giant version of the boss shows up, same problem
Then some legacy character appears to "rescue" us from the thing we just finished beating.

And that's just the fights that can actually be won. For some reason the devs weren't satisfied with letting Len and Rin get their asses kicked in cutscenes, so the game is also full of instant-kill battles.

There's one weird thing you can do about Stop on a party member- overwrite it with your own. If you cast Stop with a low MND character it will last barely any time at all.

Yeah, Esuna doesn't do shit to time magic in RK.

But at least unlike in BE, it can cure petrification.

1) You can see those in the demo, just catch a Large mirage.

2) Do you mean transfigurations? Those let you change your mirage into a different size category or elemental type. A chocochick (Small) can become a chocobo (Medium), for example. Some of their abilities carry over, too.

This fight is piss easy, even with Tyro only hitting for 3K with -Ja spells. Now to just repeat phase2 repeatedly hoping for good RNG weaknesses.

Shit goes down, you get kidnapped along with jew troops and brought before the primal, yet deus ex machina means you can't be brainwashed. Queue dumb fight theme and you fight and beat the primal.
Repeat for the next, add in some enemy empire stuff, then another primal, queue enemy empire doing their evil plan, you stop plan, then learn that potatoes are assholes and should be gassed.

Congratulations, you've just been given a bare bones plot summary of ARR.

and yes, I realize having access to chain -ga made this much easier, but still, this is an incredibly poor set of target scores. Please tell me this isn't the direction of the remaining nightmare dungeons.
