I should add that these are stock numbers, and for whatever reason the previous owner appears to have swapped in a JDM b20a so it may be a bit faster/slower.
I've never really gone full throttle except to see how fast I could get it up to, since I didn't buy a 90s fwd inline 4 so I could feel fast.

Not fast by any standard. With a teeny tiny powerband somewhat high up, so it's a bit of juggle to keep it in there.
Still quite a reasonable amount of power squeezed out of a milk carton worth of displacement. And really fuel efficient if you treat it right.
I pulled the 352 and put in a 390 back in '96.
Was just using the 352 for comparison. Pulled off one of the heads because of knocking and I could literally rock 2 pistons back and forth in the cylinder. So with your times I just can't imagine whats holding that poor motor together.
Aah I see haha, my other px is modified too (pic related), but my stock one it's almost impossible to hit 60mph
Thanks m8, yes it works perfectly
Thanks man, I appreciate
it's just a tired 300. not exactly a powerhouse in the first place.
yeah pretty much, they've taken standard Vespa engines which put out around 12BHP and made them pump out up to 35BHP, not much eh? bear in mind a Vespa P range scooter weighs in at around 75Kg, thats an awful lot of BHP/Tonne.
and on 10 inch wheels
mines is currently Dyno'd at 19.8BHP, bloody well fast enough for me.
pic related, mines.
thats really nice, whats the black loop under the front of the saddle? not seen anything like that on a scooter before

Dont tell the "6=8" guys that, they'll hunt you down and make you eat cam gears until you take that back.
I actually got my fuel pump in the mail and was thinking of firing up the 390.
She's been sitting for 14 years- I had it running for a couple seconds just from pouring gas down the carb but haven't gotten further than that yet.
I might just pull the motor and go through it, haven't decided yet.
>Dyno'd at 19.8BHP
Pretty sure my flex fan takes that much power to run....
Not knocking you, just an observation.
aha, that is epic, i love this lock.
i've never seen one like that.
it bolts into the gear change? great. i think i'll have a look around for one of those.
thanks.
Rally 200?
yeah, that'll be the Quatrini 50cc machine, bloody fast little scooter.
no offence taken mate, i know how underpowered Vespas are, but the thing is once you've owned one they become bloody addictive, much more so than cars
yes, it's because you can't put a chain on the wheel
it looks like pic related
looks easy to fit, yeah i think i'll look on Ebay etc see if i can pick one up. thanks again.

Any stock numbers you can search.
Had her at 120mph on the east bound grade on I8 before alpine in San Diego.
That was stock, many, many years ago.
Factory limited to 127.5mph (twEECer RT disabled that shit).
Road & track tested an '89 and hit 149 in 5th on a non-governored LX.
Ford said it would hit 151 in 4th.
They blew the motor trying.
I haven't pushed this motor besides the dyno run.
Also had an '85 bronco up to 85mph on the freeway during a cross country trip towing a small uhaul trailer.
Theoretical top speed is like 87mph because it has the aerodynamics of a brick.
Pretty sure the only reason I'm alive is because that trailer was like a kite tail/ dart fins keeping me going straight....
