Heavy armour is terrible for travelling in but absolutely superior for close combat in every way.

Light armor is closer to padding or simple clothing, pretty warm and functional and very easy to travel in.

Medium armor is a happy medium that you can give to soldiers on the march or guards and have no issues.

There are already some floating spectral whales in that one new creature mod. They fly around High Hrothgar. It's pretty good but they're cosmetics only, can't damage them.

Heavy 2h attacks do a fuck load of damage even through a block
Are heavy attacks worth the time they take? I'm not really using them at the moment, I'm mainly shield bashing for the stagget and kiting any heavy blows

This will make your game Soulslite (parrying, dodging and attack commitment) + more of a traditional RPG (racial and classes) + Mount and Blade scale of outdoors skirmishes
Not to mention that the NPCs will be smarter and more challenging and numerous. That will be countered with more followers on your side that you can command mid-fight.

Get Vigor.

Introduces Poise and stagger mechanics, makes blocking deflect all damage (unless you run out of stamina).

Allows you to block by striking their weapon with your weapon as they attack, there's even a parry effect to it.

Makes 2h weapons devastating against poise and makes 1h fast weapons great for fencing, melee combat is 100% focused on stamina control and parrying.

Most of the Mer waifu's are okay. Some of the Nord ones too. Avoid any of the vampire waifu's though, they're ugly animals that need to be put down as a mercy. Yet to see a good redguard, but that's poor breeding stock anyways. Bretons are muts so bland by nature.
