I was pvping on my pyro the other night grinding mound makers shit and I invaded someone in the snowfields being a ninja, it was a very tense duel and I won eventually but fuck did he make me pay for it. I later put my soapstone down near the bridge in an attempt to get summoned as a purple and help gank invaders and the fucking ninja actually summoned me.

We done almost entirety of the dlc together murdering everyone that invaded us, it was glorious.

Since launch I've never been able to deal against the SSP. It has the glaive combo, high damage, long distance pokes and amazing WA.

The only reason I never used it is because it's ugly as a sin.

Rule of thumb is that if a spell looks cool then it's fucking worthless and that goes double for miracles.

Really? I like the way it looks personally, to each their own I guess. I don't even 2H it, it just happens to be the highest damage long reach spear in the game (literally more physical damage than a lothric knight long spear 40/40, not including lightning damage or the WA buff too), which comes with an extremely valuable R2 (which is a halberd-like horizontal slash) and actually useful WA (almost all spears have shitty charge WA's that are complete garbage).

I like to go for hornet shieldpoke backstabs a lot so I needed the highest damage spear I could get, it just so happened that I got a lot of other bonuses on top of that as well. The R1's on the DSSS reach just as far as a lothric knight long spear, it's dumb but I love it.

Yeah I feel the same way... I love the mask though, wish I could have it without the hat. Too bad we didn't get many masks in DKS3.

The Executioner's Mask does look good with the rest, Creighton's would probably be even better. I'll have to get it, just started a new NG+ so I'm not in Irithyll yet.
