They should be there to prevent 4 hour rounds (which are not fun for anyone but the biggest autists, paramedics never fucking care to look for people that are dead, suit sensors on or not, they dont care to get telesci access, no one fucking cares about anyone else during extended)

A medbay that isn't just pills and cloning, and that doesn't feel lacking.
Basically add another operating theatre, more room for patients and a braindead ward (shielded of radiations please) and I'm happy with that. Can add a security checkpoint too, wouldn't hurt.
