Post your uncommon vehicles

So we already know Veeky Forums has M3's, miatas, FRSs and the like, but does anyone own a unique/rare car? It doesn't have to be a limited production car, just ones you don't see very often.
Starting with my '88 Fiero GT. They only made 6000 or so GTs in 1988 before they halted production.

Veeky Forums is full of meme machines, so probably not.

I have only seen 2 other wagons like mine since i bought it.
I don't know the production numbers but corolla wagons (no matter what generation) seem pretty uncommon.

My '85 notchback GT.

Fieros are about as common as MR2s around here, which is to say not at all.

I use to own an FX
Only made for two years in the US

nice TE37s bro

Are the fiero formulas more expensive? I like the stock front better but the formula is the only one with the stock front and the v6

Thanks mang. Authentic is the only way to go

that might be the cleanest '85 ive ever seen. nice!

I have never seen another cressida, altho they have popped up on craigslist this is the only 5spd ive ever seen

this fits the bill. nice looking survivor you got there.

theres one for sale in my area right now, i always thought they were pretty cool. especially for a fwd hatch but my favorite jdm 80s hatchback will always be an ef civic

Super fun to drive m8.
Second most fun ive had in a car. And ive driven some nice cars

I've never seen a cressida on the road before either, definitely rare.
Beautiful example you have here

over here in SoCal, fieros are literally more rare than supercars and I regularly get asked what my car is or if its a ferrari (lol)

Its a one owner rust free beast with the leather interior, i love it best part was it was sold to me for 2k

You're a lucky guy

I used to have a 5-speed Audi V8 Quattro. They only shipped 72 of the things over here, and I found one. All for $3500. Plus repair bills of course.

What a piece of shit. Fun car, but what a piece of shit. Also, it is the absolute worst car to google info on, thanks to its oh-so-clever name. It's like they couldn't take 5 seconds to actually name the thing, so they named it after the fucking engine.

95 SHO 5 speed. Actual god machine.

5 speed didn't come stock did it?

In the gen 2's I think the 5 speed was stock and the auto was an option, In the Gen 1's you could only get stick and then gen 3 were auto only but those had a shitty v8

gen 2's all came with 4 speed autos so it must have been a swap from a gen 1, where a 5 speed was an option.

Umm no? Gen 3's only came with auto's and that's when they switched body styles and to the shitty v8.

where did i mention Gen 3's?

>doubting trips
u dun goofed

I was telling you that Gen 3's are the only ones where you couldn't get a manual. Gen 2 you could get a 5 speed or an auto. Gen 2 is when they introduced the auto for the SHO, The auto got a 3.2 liter v6 rather than the 3.0 so it had the same torque and HP numbers as the manual.

Actually they may have had more torque but they kept the same HP.

but thats factually incorrect. Gen 3s only came in auto. Gen 2's only came in auto. Gen 1 was the ONLY generation to feature a 5 speed manual. It really isn't hard to look these things up.

my apologies, Gen 2's did have manuals.

But they didn't you're just actually retarded. Results of 2 seconds in google.

>I CLEARLY KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS CAR I DON'T OWN THAN THE PERSON WHO OWNS IT
>OH NO TURNS OUT IM ACTUALLY RETARDED AND CAN'T GOOGLE

Yes we know. How dumb do you feel? That's the real question.

>admits mistake
>post assblasted comments
never change Veeky Forums

>basically a Ford Escort

Only ever seen 1 other 3G wagon in person and it wasn't even in my state

Saab 9000 aero non TCS 5 speed.

I see one regularly down the road from my house, but it hasn't been on the road in 20+ years, and it's a rusted out shitbox sitting on some guys front lawn

none of these qualify

That will happen, the metal on this is extremely thin, only weighs like 2100lbs and it has 5 doors and 4x4

>when u so mad u have to post 2 comments

I've only ever seen like 2 other nissan sentra se-r spec v's here in h-tine

saw one of these at school today, was probably a 92, it was red and in perfect shape, even the original wheels. I felt so proud of it, and it wasn't even my car.

They made a little more than 14,000 four door falcon wagons in 1965, but there's no specifications as to how many of certain engines were sold.
Largest engine optioned at the time was the 289-4V (premium fuel) and that's what the vin reads it came with.

But of course now it has a 1968 "J" Code 302 from a 1968 mustang with c80e-f heads, which were only made for that year. supposedly 10.5:1 compression but it's old and its got blow-by so I'd have to through some rings in to get it back.

They made a decent amount of them but they were never really considered desirable classics until real recently, many were junked. The 2 door and panel wagons have always been collectable though.

1995 Dodge Stealth R/T. One of 1500 in galaxy with pearl IIRC

>One of 1500 in galaxy with pearl
>paint is shit
uhhh

Can I come and Play?

sure, say hi to your new friend

I god i love your car. I almost bought one as a DD a while ago.

I didnt really know about Falcons till I saw this article/car

speedhunters.com/2014/06/hayabusa-ford-falcon-stock-car/

Im assuming you daily yours? How is it?

also what do you think of this?

newyork.craigslist.org/brk/cto/5781410405.html

You are wrong

it's becoming my daily driver, I've replaced a ton of things. Previous owner died in 1997 and it sat until I bought it last year.

It's a couch with a huge steering wheel, an old car with bodyroll and a loud v8 so it's all smiles.
People walk over when I pump gas and ask about it, it's just a fun car to own.
no power steering, windows, or brakes. But the front brakes are dual piston slotted 10 inch rotors so it stops just fine.

i think we've established that thanks

I mean he just said a car you don't see very often. I've only ever seen 1 other SHO. I see fieros way more often.

Yeah those came with the 302 and sometimes the 351, most of the parts are interchangeable with the other big bodied fords so replacement parts would be no problem.

I actually like the look of those better because its more squared, and there's more room to work with under the hood.
I'd get it.

Noice
Now we just need someone with a Subaru

I think OP was referring to the '88s, which were radically different than the other years of the Fiero. Regardless, I still see way more SHOs than Fieros here. Just difference in location, I think.

You're bloody wrong, the ignorance is unbelievable

a first gen legacy wagon or something

I restore british cars
theyre all rare
lol

>They only made 6000 or so GTs in 1988 before they halted production.

Thank god

cool post a picture of one

Does my Saabaru fit the bill? Only made about 2,100 Aero manual 92x's over the two years they were made.

Im not sure where you are located but do you get snow where you are? Im in New England and Im thinking if this would be ok in snow.

esp if i had snow tires.

>plastic body panels
>mid engine v6
>low seating position
>ferrari-like styling
>popup headlights
>lotus-like suspension ('88)

fucking normies, i bet youre stupid enough to believe that they catch fire too

its just a rebadged wrx wagon innit

stop lyin bitch nigga

OP here... I didn't mean unique options, but that is a cool car nonetheless.

Only something like 17 were imported to my country.

Bentley Mulsanne GT Speed

My 1970 buick skylark
You don't see many old buicks around

Completed restoration of a 58 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud I but it does have Silver Cloud II brakes
fun fact the brake system runs off a servo connected to the transmission, that was fun adjusting.
the owner cracked the block overheating it (I6).

Well there's only 178 of them in this color.

I bet a Rolls Royse straight 6 wasn't the easiest thing to find.

the straight six it before the v8 was introduced.

This car calms me internally as do all older Toyotas. I grew up in one of these. Was my dad's car. Although his had the "TOYOTA" letters on the grille not the cowboy hat but otherwise looked very similar.
beautiful
Not sure if that pic is your car but hnng

Guuise does my CE fit the bill?

whatup boys

...

is that a gti?

nice, i love the clean look of the silver on a notchback

my 1992 popra, there were exactly 1193 ever made (for north america)

I owned an 80 Volvo 262C Bertone. Loved it and someone ran into it and wrecked it.

I know that. But with a cracked block your going to need a replacement one.

>mulsanne
>gt
>pic
bruh

None of these belong in this thread
>It's 40 years old so you don't see many running anymore!!!
>It's a rare trim!!!
>It's a rare color!!
>It's a rare model in my country!!
>It's a piece of shit!!
No. That doesn't make them unique or rare.

>tripfag
>opinion mattering

Rare and Unique are objective facts.
A Toyota fucking camry isn't rare or unique.

Fuck off rapist

>rare
>(of a thing) not found in large numbers and consequently of interest or value.

This means anything with limited production.

>unique
Shitting in a cup and throwing sprinkles on it can be called unique.

>Suzuki X90
>not rare

dude they only imported 7000 in total

So literally any discontinued car is rare?
Dank. MKIV jettas are hella rare huh? Dope low life rare cars so fucking euro bro.

>Shitting in a cup and throwing sprinkles on it can be called unique.
A mass produced car cannot.

>any discontinued car is rare
Discontinued and very few models left running yes.

Is a ford Escort rare? No, there are still tens of thousands of them left.

Is a car that had 5000 units produced 15 years ago with maybe 1/3rd of that still on the road? Yes that is rare.

Also most cars are required to be mass produced to compete in any worth while automotive sport.

dude are you a bit agitated?

Eagle here

I know there was one other person on here who has one.

Theres one for sale near me i kinda want it, are they worh putting work into?

>Audi V8
>not rare

You realize Audi imported fuck all before the 2000s, right?

Please kill yourself.
OP clearly said
>It doesn't have to be a limited production car, just ones you don't see very often.

Dank dude. My Honda Civic is actually only one of 117 for it's model year and color with the same trim package.. And since it's 23 years old and a shit box I never see any on the road.
Must be a super rare and unique collectors car.

Yeah as long as it's not rotted out.

are you gonna be alright?

Rust free, unmodified 1985 Honda CRX Si. 157k miles. Came with several original goodies.

The Si was started in the latter half of 1985, and 1986 models onwards were given flush headlights. Not sure about production numbers though.

They built a shit ton but I just don't see many often
